Joann's by me just had a doorbuster sale yesterday on their Big Twist Value yarn for 2.09 a skein. I came home with 12 skeins and a new set of crochet hooks! Lol
I remember this brand was the 1st one I tried when starting out and I hated it because it would split so badly, but since I’ve practiced I think I should give it a try again
I used this to make an Amigurumi Mandrake doll for my daughter. I used the variegated color “Sand Stone”. It split with EVERY SINGLE STITCH. it took forever to get the project done. Have you had a chance to try out the variegated color you got? I wonder if you’ll notice a difference…

I used it to make some Easter washcloths (still a beginner) and I LOVED how it looked!

Wouldn't the polyester maker it less absorbent for dish cloths and might melt if you used it for a pot holder?
Are you still giving away a project bag and the hooks?
Ohhh that is my pet peeve. I looked on Joanne's website and it says 107 yards, but it's actually 96? I detest false or misleading advertising.
