Two crank flip tricks was playing dirty against someone who clearly doesn't do them and who's bike isn't set up for it. Lame
I prefer crankflips being in the game as opposed to "only if you can do them", it is a competition after all. No one who thinks they should not be in them should care anyway, nothing on the line if it is "just for fun". It is more unfair that guys who only do barspins and whips can just opt of crankflip tricks (like the rooftop games). Like, if you do not do crankflips you will probably be better at bars and whips, is it then "dirty" to do them against a guy who is not as good at them due to being more well-rounded? (At any rate this is seemingly the same point as you are making just at a lesser extreme).
@@joshnicholson6194 for pure competition, makes sense to go after the the other person's weaknesses of course. My experiences in watching or taking part in games of BIKE or SKATE have all been to keep it fun and not repeat tricks that the other person's bike isn't set up for, and also not doing tricks that the other person has absolutely no chance of being able to do unless it's the last letter or so. To each their own.
@@kyleheaser351boombaby Yeah no your experience is very much in line with mine. Just with the series being called "cage match" it seems like they are going for a "no holds barred approach".
Thinking about it now I guess I also prefer it being allowed because it is then up to the riders (adds an element of uncertainty to the games). Further, that element of "don't be a dick" which is quite prevalent in SKATE/BIKE can also be seen to be truly authentic if it is "allowed", because then it is the rider being cool, as opposed to just not being allowed to be a dick.

Just noticed I am kind of arguing at cross purposes to you in the latter part of my previous reply (In discussing whether it should be allowed as opposed to whether it is lame or not). Sorry, hopefully you get my point though.
