that steady clim to 340kph will always blow my mind. it's like there's no air to push, no tyre friction, nothing! just pure expression of speed and power.
Viñales is on fire this year, misses the apex on T12 and T19 and still beats last year's world record by an entire second. Phenomenal talent and machinery, it was a treat watching it live.

I was sitting near the flag, at the esses. He was way faster in this section. I thought he was going to hit someone from behind 😅. Then he took the lead and said, bye-bye 👋 to the competition.
@@ReshardsAutomotiveWorkshop Yep, and the funny part is Aprilia is the bike with least amount of wings. Makes you wonder if all those wings and stuff on the other bikes are even working or are working as efficiently as aprilia's ground effect does
@@rohannaik4761Most of the wings are to decrease wheelie and for braking. Marc said since Honda used the newer aero, the bike became very difficult to turn and is stiff.
Some of those downshifts sound scary. Idk if the UI is lagging behind or something but I saw he already had downshifted to 1st gear while the bike was going 246 💀
slipper clutch. when they downshift they go down straight to the gear they need in one pass regardless of the revs and speed. the clutch will slightly open to slide and avoid the engine overraving. so they can kick the S out of it, the clutch deals with it. that's why the clutch is open to air becasue it slides a lot when the ydownshift like this so they have to run them open to air. they also change it every day of running.
Yeah as radracer was saying, the graphic is either slightly off because on upshifts the bike gets out of first gear at 100 mph/162 kph (check turn 11 exit for a clear picture) or they have the mother of all slipper clutches bringing it down at a fraction until it's below redline. Insane. I know they like to get downshifts done early but wow!

After seeing this video, I can analyze why in the previous race Aprilia had problems with the transmission gear, it turns out this is how Vinales rides... In my opinion it's no longer aggressive, but more rough... That's purely my opinion... Maybe that was the reason first Yamaha kicked him out because in the Austrian race he tried to damage his motorbike... Luckily when he was still at Suzuki, he never had engine problems or transmission gear problems, yes we all know how proven Suzuki engines are... Just look at the endurance races, Suzuki is the one who has won the most... Hopefully Suzuki can return to MotoGP in 2027 to further increase its competitiveness in MotoGP...
I'll give you a tip, stop alternating the speed with the angle of inclination in the graphics, besides being confusing, it's extremely unpleasant to follow. Better just add the speed, it will improve a lot
Danke fürs online stellen! Wirklich sehr interessant!
