You’ve probably heard this before - my old coach told me if you’ve got a stitch on your left side, exhale when your left foot hits the ground (right foot for a right side stitch). Keep that breathing pattern of exhaling on your stitch side until the pain relieves. (Doesn’t have to be every left step, could be every other step - depends how fast you’re running). Always worked for me. Good luck for the mara.
