There’s a rumor that echo is gonna be the villain of this show, is there a chance you could do an echo explained for those who don’t know her that well?
The villain will most likely be Kate Bishop mum. Echo will be a secondary villain but will turn good and get her own spin off. Similar to how they did Punisher.
I always loved Hawkeye as a kid. It came in handy when that old side scrolling Avengers video game from the 90's came out where you could be Captain America, Iron Man, Vision or Hawkeye. Everyone wanted to be Vision or Cap so I always got my boy in purple.
I beat that game in an arcade with Hawkeye...with everyone in the arcade watching... I was still in elementary school... One of my coolest gaming moments

I've been waiting for Kate Bishop ever since that silhouetted side view of Jeremy Renner/Hawkeye teaching his daughter to shoot a bow. The MCU has changed/broken away from the 616 universe on a few occasions, so having the actual daughter be the new Hawkeye was plausible. Having Kate be her own person is better, honestly, because it gives her a story and separate motivations.
I’d like to learn more about Iron-Lad & Kang. Because honestly, the idea of placing yourself at almost every important moment in time is genius. It kinda forces your existence to be an absolute point in history/the timeline

I'm mostly excited for the fact that Hailee Steinfeld's playing her. She's one of my favorite actors of all time.
I did enjoy her in pitch perfect but I don't know her in anything else. She's a singer to me.

I was a fan of Hawkeye when I was a kid specifically because of the arcade game.
I just love the Hawkeye attention right now. The trailer really felt like the shine clint deserves

The problem is Bishop barely gained anything traction or popularity outside of playing Robin to Bartons Batman. You can say Barton's popularity fell by the wayside, but even a diminished Barton was still more known and outshined Bishop. Coming at this time it just highlights the weird decisions being made by Disney MSheU as regardless of the present with Renner, or the past comic books if you heard there was a Hawkeye show coming out you'd expect it to be Barton, and not Bishop.

Barton is very good. Bishop is basically his Robin at a time where he needed someone else to bounce off of since Mockingbird was gone.
The Fraction HAWKEYE book treated them a lot like siblings.

My prediction, Kate is going to take the leadership role of the Young Avengers in the MCU. I feel like it would be that kind of thing that marvel does where they flip the script sometimes. The protege of the “useless character” of the team ends up being the most capable of her team.

Seeing how Kate was basically the defacto leader of the Young Avengers, I think she’ll be the leader of them in the MCU.
I love this character and am excited for in Hawkeye series. Also love how the mcu is taking inspiration from Matt fraction comic for the show.
Also Kate in the avengers game was a great version of her to.

Elephant in the room: Hawkeye's bow has a 250lb draw weight (Hawkeye is actually strong, hes 6'2 or 6'3 230-235lbs). The villain Cross fire could not draw hawkeye's bow when he tried to use hawkeye's bow. Spiderman even struggled to draw hawkeye's bow because he didn't expect it be 250lbs. I wonder if Kate's bow is even comparable? If not, then how is she & her bow even effective let alone comparable to Hawkeye?
Quick answer is she draws super strength from stubbornness , and don’t bother her with stupid things like facts or comic canon.

I love Natasha and Clint, hands down 2 of my favorite avengers.
Hailee Steinfeld portrayed Kate Bishop brilliantly in the Hawkeye series and she quickly became one of my favourite female MCU heroes. I can't wait to see her in future projects.

What I think is going to happen is that Jeremy Renner is going to stop being Hawkeye,,, Hawkeye is going to pass the batton to Bishop.... He's going to be killed by the new Black Widow.... Then Kate Bishop is going to seek revenge against the Black Widow.... They are going to be mortal enemies at first... and down the line it's going to turn out that Black Widow is going to find out that she's been lied to.. They are going to team up and get those responsible for what lead to Hawkeyes death.....
It's going to be a cool twist of irony that the new Hawkeye will hunt down the new Black Widow-- or a back and forth cat and mouse thing... Then later they end up having a strange dynamic as a team maybe even friends further down the line. That's what I think and maybe hope will happen!
