I’m a veteran who served 19 years and had my career cut short due to a botched spinal fusion surgery in 2021. I was paralyzed from the waist down unable to walk. I had to go through grueling and painful physical therapy for almost a year before I could even start walking without assistance. I’m able to walk now with a cane for short distances praise God. I’m still dealing with VA for my benefits. I thank my Lord Jesus that my wife has been by my side through all this. However there are times that I get depressed and this song just lifts my spirits and energizes me. Thank you my sweet Lord Jesus because I know you are here by my side giving me strength.

This song is amazing!! I feel so lucky to be able get to where I am today. My adoptive mother didn’t want me so when she got mad or having a bad day, I became her punching bag. I never got to settle our differences due to her passing away in 2008 but I still feel blessed that God held me up through everything!

I've been through depression and other things and was considering commuting suicide when I was younger but God held on to me and never let me go. I am now an adult still went through struggles but my fighting spirit it back!!!!!
