The last leaf is around 16 inches now and the new leaf is going to be similar. Also found a light variegation in the leaves 😊😊😊😊😊😊 It also tried to flower but I took it off to promote leaf growth. I love it
My anthurium pallidiflorum just arrived! I'm going to care for it as you've described here and see how things go! I'm a sucker for velvety foliage. Though subtle, it really sparkles as the sun's going down. It's like the Edward Cullen of plants, LOL. Happy I watched your video!!
So i finally invested into one. I'm a bit apprehensive of antheriums, as i live in a hot and dry climate, and not sure this was the best plant to start with them (because expensive). Do yuo recommend a layer of sfagnum moss above the soil, to maintain moisture?
Not something to really brag about. That's horrible. Additionally, they don't propagate from cuttings. They do from berries/seeds they produce or from splitting them up. So you took from that beautiful plant for nothing.
This has been a wishlist month for me and this has been on top for over a year. I finally found one and can't wait to see it grow.

I don’t necessarily think that’s necessary as long as you have some sphagnum mixed into your substrate. They’re the easiest anthurium I’ve grown
