i added this too a cheap carplay head unit from ebay and though difficult for a newb (who didnt want to pay 2k for a sound system upgrade) i noticed the seventour amp light never turned green, only blue. i also noticed the sound from both carplay and bass amp were dumbed down. i will upgrade speakers soon so i am hoping that is all it is to get everything working correctly with bigger sound and bass. i do understand now the sub amp was just for the sub and not for the carplay so that will also be in the works.

i have a Hyponics Brutus amp behind my passenger truck seat, mounted to a piece of plywood that''s been glued to the back wall of the cab. (standard cab) Since It's self powered, can I keep it simple and just run some power to it, via a cable, from the Amp? 10" self powered.

Hi, Theoretically it is possible, but you have to make sure that the power cable is not smaller than 6 Gauge.

I have this amp and the speaker is no longer producing power what could it be. It has power and blue light but sub is not producing bass

HI, Did you connect the power cord to the car fuse box? The 12V power cord must get power from the car battery +.

I hooked in to my rear speakers with a kicker rca adapter and used the acc wire on the adapter to power the amp on. It was a really nice addition to make the factory system sound better.

i’ve had this sub for a couple days and now when bass hits it rattles

I mounted a foam product between the amp and mounting surface and the rattle went away on mine. If you don’t have any foam, try adding an old rag or something and see if that helps.
