About replying to everyone's comments? I think that as your channel grows it is unrealistic to expect yourself to be able to go through them all. You make it very clear in your videos how great full and humble you are and as long as that stays the case, and you still reply to as many as you can within reason, I think you are wonderful! Stay true to you without unrealistic expectations.

I think a chair and floor lamp for reading would be great in the window corner. Perhaps a blanket ladder to add some height along with a basket. We have lots of throws also. I like that you are taking your time and getting used to things to see what works. Your doing great!
I personally think matching console tables on either side of the mantle would look great symmetry-wise! Definitely an investment but just a thought! Also, if you are still on the fence about the color of the existing console table, try re-painting it to match the baseboards and trim or a slate to match the island!

Your new home is stunning! I'm a balance, symmetry person so I'd get two matching tables for either side of the fireplace. Maybe the same tone as your coffee table. Maybe with enough room to put big baskets for blanket storage. Looking forward to your organizing videos!

Also there was a basket in one of the cabinets in the laundry room, I think with the mop heads in it. That's such a pretty basket, I'd put it up on the folding counter for display!

Yes I agree! I’m a symmetrical person also so I’d get a duplicate table for the other side and maybe put the pompous grass in either corner of the fireplace. But it’s YOUR house so do whatever you like😀

I'm been following you for quite a while now and really enjoyed watching you clean. It motivates me to do more and most often I clean along side you. To be honest I'd rather you spend your time making great content as always, rather than answering each and everyones comment. I appreciate the time you put in replying to everyone. I'm a working mom and have 3 little kids, and sometimes after working my 12 hour shift as a RN I just don't wanna do anything. But watching you and listening to you while I clean motivates me because I know, just like you I feel so much better if my house is clean and organize.

This was almost my comment. I’d rather have more content than more comments. These videos seriously help me keep my life on track. It’s my weekly trigger to do a Sunday reset clean, easy meal prep, and then a workout! I love how it sets me up for the week ahead. It’s like having a friend helping me get started
I like the acknowledgement that a comment I left has been read, but that doesn't mean it needs a reply. Even just a heart is a good way to show you are reading them. You are my favorite home care channel and no matter what, I will be sticking around. As for that laundry room...since this room is at the end of the kitchen, you could use empty space to store small appliances you don't often use, or season dishware, etc. Stuff you don't want to have to crawl through boxes for or have taking up other space in your kitchen.
A great idea to keep all your household manuals organized is to put them all in a folder with clear sleeves. You always know where to find info when it's all together in one place.
Or small three ring binder, we have one in the garage too with all of our tool manuals and for snow blower,lawnmower,etc.

I like the table on the window side too! Yellow would be a really nice pop of color in that room. Similar to the color of the small vase you have on the table. Maybe consider a blanket ladder instead of a blanket basket. Serves as storage and decor at the same time

Yes I would absolutely love shorts on how to clean specific areas of the home! Namely, deep cleaning dishwasher, washing machine and other appliances! I never grew up in a house where those deep cleaning tasks were done so I have no idea how to tackle them! Whatever you decide to post I will watch! Girl get you some pedestals for your washer and dryer it’s gonna be a back saver for years to come! We had a used front load set. I found some pedestals on Facebook marketplace and it made a world of difference!

Hi Jamie! The house is beautiful. I agree, the living room console looks best on the left. I think it's because the length of the couch and the table on the right makes the room right-side heavy. When you put the console on the left, it balances the room. Overall, everything looks amazing!!!

Jamie, your new house is lovely and your “journey” to decorate it should be fun and enjoyable. So, take your time and experiment and love whatever you choose without worrying about what anyone else has to say. It’s exciting that you get to meet with the designer for input and ideas! As far as comments go, it’s fun to get a response but I don’t expect one and it doesn’t bother me at all if I don’t get one. Maybe a tall faux tree in the corner on the right of the fireplace would look nice (my two cents). 😅❤
The best part about having the all gray or all white base is that you can so easily change the color scheme for every season. Adding florals and pinks for spring, blues and yellows to the summer and then of course the call and Christmas decor. It all will change our so easily with your base color scheme that you currently have. ❤️
And Jamie loves fall colors, so the pops of oranges and yellows will look fantastic this fall. Now I can't wait!

Hang in there, Jamie! When I moved into my new dream home I found I grieved for my old one, and for the organization I had there. All the decisions or setting up the new one were overwhelming at first and then one day I decided to just unpack and store and I had the rest of my life in my beautiful home to rearrange and organize!! You got this!!! Love the idea of moving the table over, set the grass vase at the edge of the fireplace and the basket for blankets in corner!!

The table in the living room - I think in a perfect world, you would have a matching table on the other side to balance it out. As for the decor, I would go with the smallest number of larger decor pieces so that it doesn’t look cluttered. It’s a big room, so the decor pieces need to be scaled up to fit it. Getting some stuff on the walls will definitely help pull it together too!

Hi Jamie! I can so relate to your situation. I moved recently and my best answer is to live in the house a bit and then really organize. We always rush to get everything perfect and it takes a while to get a feel for a house. I definitely had some cleaning supplies in each bathroom and then I put my overflow to my downstairs closet.

I love the idea of storing all your cleaning supplies in your laundry room. I think you should store all your linens in the upstairs closet simply because they're easier to access. What about putting the medicine that you don't use on a daily basis in the upper cabinets of your laundry room? And possibly sunscreen? Just an idea! I stopped watching cleaning type videos for quite a while for various reasons but as soon as I wanted that motivation and to see order from chaos I thought of you and your content Jamie. I really appreciate you taking time to make these videos. I would say that I am well aware that everyone is busy. Especially with a community of this size I think a heart on my comment letting me know you saw it, works for me, I never expect a comment but love the interactions when they do happen even on other channels I watch. Also love the idea of how to shorts. Would like the quick access.

Jamie, I love what you have done so far. Think about getting another like table beside the fireplace. Or, I would consider built-in cabinets beside the fireplace. Either way, you do what you like. I can’t wait for another episode of Jamie cleaning and organizing.

Congratulations on your New Home! I have same taste as you, so I actually love the idea of pops of color! Consider a blanket ladder in wood for other side of fireplace will give you balance. This is only a suggestion but I love the house colors you guys chose and I think it looks fantastic!
That is a great idea, I was thinking of a tree, but I love the idea of a blanket ladder, and it would make the blankets look better than a basket and also serve to bring the eye up to the mantle.

Yes, a pop of color! Red or black would compliment gray. Use different sizes and textures. I agree with the symmetry on both sides of the fireplace. Maybe 2 club chairs and a longer console table at the window. Everything is looking great. All those cleaning products make me happy 😁
Hi Jamie!! As far as comments go you are one of the few that constantly and consistently that reply to so many comments. It is definitely appreciated but you are a busy mom and wife running her own business! That's a lot to handle. I truly appreciate that you haven't let your success go to your head, it definitely shows❤️. Maybe take a couple videos a month to respond as much as you can and the others just focus on the first couple hours the video is up.

I’m loving the new house decor. I agree with the cleaning supplies storage, it makes the most sense to store it in the laundry room and just have a small caddy to leave upstairs with cleaning essentials so that you aren’t running back and forth. And then linens can go in the designated linen closets and if there is excess then you could store them in the laundry room in the extra space.
And you are so right…when we moved into our new house, I found that we just had to live in it for a while to know what worked and didn’t. It will eventually fall into place and organization will be easier once you know what works for your family.

I love the table to the left of the fire place. It’s such a statement piece and I feel like on the right the couch hides it. Also I would put the vase directly in the right corner bc the couch kinda covers it too from that angle but if you move it to the corner then you’ll be able to see it. Then I would add a blanket basket to the right of the fire place where you have the vase to give it a cozy feel. Or if you wanted something with a little height, I love the blanket ladders.. that would look great too!! Everything is so gorgeous 😍 I absolutely love it!!!

I’m excited to see what you choose for the pampas grass case. I really think if you get a woven plant stand or even an upside down basket to put it on it’ll have more balance. If you can find a blanket basket to match even better! Love it so far!

I had originally thought your console would look better in that corner by the stairs--but now that you moved it back by the window - I agree with you 😊. So much fun watching you get settled in your new home - feels like I’m there decorating it with you- I find myself nodding and commenting “ohhh, that looks better by the window” like you can hear me from Texas 😂! I recommend painting the table in the living room a brighter white. It will match the mantle so it may look better near the window. Some darker navy colors may look nice in living room. Needs contrast to break up the gray. Also, adding in more textures may help. A chunky knit blanket for example. Patterns will help as well. Just keep in mind colors, contrast, patterns, and textures as your decorate your home. It's looking great and you DO have an eye for decor! It's OK to play and take some risks with it. Trust your instinct. Also, you are always sharing how much you appreciate you followers in your videos. Replying to comments is extra and I hope you reply back if it's truly something that brings you joy. We all only have so much time and life is short.

I agree…move the sofa table back to the other side of the fireplace and I like the idea of a blanket basket to corral your throws when you’re not using them. I think a bit taller vase for the grass down the road would look nice, but take your time bc it’s got to be just the right one!
I totally feel you about life being in disarray almost. We renovated our kitchen, and had no functioning kitchen, including sink, for 8 weeks! We cooked in as much as possible but I was getting so tired of washing dishes in the bath tub 😢
We are finally just about done and it feels so good to put things away where everything has a home!

Great job with all you're doing in the new house! I think your table looks best on the right-hand side (when you're facing the fireplace), I also think it would look nice with a cozy chair and ottoman over by the window, with a small round table for a drink or book to sit on. Because everything in the living room is neutral, it would be pretty if the chair had a nice pattern (not to busy) and have it be in that pretty coastal blue that you like.
I definitely think that table to the left of the fireplace definitely looks better, makes it look more open. When it was on the right and appears close to the end of the sofa, it’s almost cluttered. It’s all coming together so amazing ❤
I appreciate your videos so much. Growing up my mother didn’t keep our home clean so it has been a struggle for me at times to clean and organize properly because I was never taught. I’m embarrassed to say that I didn’t know how to clean properly for a long time. I am making progress though, everyday it gets a little easier.
