Good work mate, gotta love plastic fishing for big flathead using UL spin gear.
Another great video and love the use of the drone footage
Thanks Tony. Glad you enjoyed it.
Love this area! We've had some good sessions here
That was a fun video. Nice work.
If only I want filming in 25fps I could of done a slomo haha
Great stuff, cheers for the tips. Love the drone footage.
You’ve really grown from a few years ago I think. Great job, keep up the good work
Thanks mate. It's been fun.
Nice drone footage also I picked a shimano Catania and some jiggel fishing soft plastics and got my first fish on soft plastics thx to u
That's awesome. Send me a pic on Facebook of your catch :)
Great video pal
This is exactly why I bought one 👌
Good tips for a kayak newby, Awesome.
I'd be the same way with that flatty. I hate getting spiked😂😂
The bloody things always get me haha.
@@LandFishTV there was a video of yours I was watching where it was the 1st fish and the moment you touched it it got you.. 😮
Try the car park next to the Life Saving Head Office. If you early you can get the one next to the Disable Parking and you have a wooden walk way to the water and only 2mtr to the water on sand.
Awesome video mate and nice flatehead! I went fishing for flatties and salmon around elwood and st kilda on sunday but only got one bite.....
Very quiet at the moment.
@@LandFishTV yeah it is... I have been trying to get onto my first salmon this winter but not having much luck with them.
@@gregv2684 pitty it's such bad weather this weekend or I'd say we can go and try find some.
@@LandFishTV yeah it is a pitty, hopefully the weather is a bit better next week....
Another great video loaded with useful fishing information for Melbournians. The drone shots are excellent. Have you considered gloves may help with your fish fingers? This could a first - a flathead that got hooked, landed & paddled. Your Website has developed nicely. I hope the revenue from it has grown accordingly. Looking forward to your next video
Hooked landed and paddled haha, what a lucky Flathead.
Sick video bro you can get monster snapper and mulloway on Barra style lures keep trying big lures to hook one snapper take plastics
Good stuff mate. Am a fan of ice coffee, no good fir you though haha
Nah probrably why I jiggle as much as my soft plastics haha.
Land Fish TV hahaha
when is the best time to go fishing for snapper with gotta love fishing
Snapper season! Give them a call and find out when the best time is.
Great video. I love the content! Keep up the great work. What is the name and brand of that kayak because I am interested in buying one?
Thanks Jack
The kayak is a Freedom Hawk 14, you will have to search on the net for a second hand one as I don't think they make them anymore.
thanks any good baits for Flathead/whiting going gelong at night
Pippies and pilchard filets will get you both
are they stabilizers at the rear of your kayak?
It's part of the kayak design. It's a Freedom Hawk 14.
any good bait for flatty or whiting
I use lures bud ;). Most plastics 2" upto 4" work for flatties.
Hi you see me down at the strength I'm with my dad have you caught any fish lately
Ever had any luck with squid in that area? Ground looked ok...
Not a big squid fisho so not sure.
You need to get onto Barista Bros expresso's. trust!
Ohh and I was probably there the day before you filmed this and didn't even get a nibble. Local land fishing has been shocking lately.
It's nice but too sweet haha
Hi Lincoln, great vid, just wondering what kayak you recommend as an entry level kayak, looking at getting one fr xmas, also where did u get urs from, cheers
Hey bud. I got mine off gumtree 2nd hand, there is loads of different kayaks available. If you have the money I would say get a pedal drive kayak as fishing will be much more pleasant with one of them
@@LandFishTV cheers
Ever catch any 3 metreys?
Only ever got to 2.8 🤪
Get daiwa gear
I prefer Shimano over Diawa ;)
Aidan Lau me too shimano any day
Dude, did you know that area is a well visited "beat" at night? The 11pm-5am parking curfew may be to discourage that kind of activity.
I'm not in that crowd so wouldn't know haha.
@@LandFishTV LOL!
I'm Jake the wind see them at the sun with my Dad can you please give me a shout out
