I know I'm replying to a 3 year old comment, but just to shed some light on the title: It's part of the lyrics from the children's rhyme song "Toryanse". There the 7th celebration referces to the Shichi-Go-San celebration of a child. Which was celebrated because back then children often didn't even reach adolescence.
Masa is a genius. (s)he uses the traditional Japanese instruments and rhythms like no one else does, and that, combined with the disturbing imagery and lyrics makes for a PERFECT horror-music. I literally never heard music so well put together like Masa's, and IMO (s)he is the only one who manages to get hold on that horror atmosphere in the whole, which other try to do so, but with much less success.

I haven't seen the actual pv for this in like forever to the point I was surprised to see this in Masa's old art style. Which still looks super good since his oldest works, crazy to see how much progress the man's made in 7 years.
In my opinion, I think this art style is WAAAAAY better for MV's. Because it's a lot more simpler than say... PARIS GREEN'S ART, and it would take less time to make more picture's for the MV. Unlike now where we only get 2 drawings per MV. London Slag Party INSOMNIA ver. gets an excuse because it's more of a lyric video if anything.
Of all the Masa songs, I honestly really like this one. The melody and vocals, combined with the lyrics creates a terrifyingly dark yet somber atmosphere. It’s about two 7-year-old sisters who were very close, but then the younger sister killed the older and impersonated her with the rest being history.
According to the wiki, and kinda confirmed by the lyrics, the younger one kills the older sister over a petty dispute and accumulated hatred, and then lives on disguised as the older(because she's the timid and obedient one therefore considered the more valued one). The part where the younger one appears to have been killed isn't true, it's more metaphorical, a representation over what she feels like after killing her sister.
But オ祝イ doesn't mean birthday. After consulting someone with better knowledge than me I came to the conclusion the title is a pun with the 七ツ standing both for seventh and for summer. So the title would be "On the seventh (summer) festival"

In my opinion, I think this art style is WAAAAAY better for MV's. Because it's a lot more simpler than say... PARIS GREEN'S ART, and it would take less time to make more picture's for the MV. Unlike now where we only get 2 drawings per MV. London Slag Party INSOMNIA ver. gets an excuse because it's more of a lyric video if anything.

Of all the Masa songs, I honestly really like this one.
The melody and vocals, combined with the lyrics creates a terrifyingly dark yet somber atmosphere. It’s about two 7-year-old sisters who were very close, but then the younger sister killed the older and impersonated her with the rest being history.

According to the wiki, and kinda confirmed by the lyrics, the younger one kills the older sister over a petty dispute and accumulated hatred, and then lives on disguised as the older(because she's the timid and obedient one therefore considered the more valued one).
The part where the younger one appears to have been killed isn't true, it's more metaphorical, a representation over what she feels like after killing her sister.

But オ祝イ doesn't mean birthday. After consulting someone with better knowledge than me I came to the conclusion the title is a pun with the 七ツ standing both for seventh and for summer. So the title would be "On the seventh (summer) festival"
