Cocaine can be taken and is then untraceable after a couple of days if you’re using urine for detection. Steroids ordinarily are detectable for weeks and months after. Also, some people don’t want to alter their performance in the ring, but they’re happy to do recreational coke now and then. So no, it’s not “strictly upside”

The difference is decriminalized doesn’t mean you can have it and not get in trouble. If you get caught it’s still 100$ ticket or treatment or both. If it was legal that wouldn’t happen, you could get caught and get your drugs back and then be on your way

As addicts the idea of an admission without completely blowing our cover is a very attractive option when we get busted. It's stupid and it makes no sense but that's exactly how it feels.
