Having a genetic mutation, while in a intense fight, going through a mental break down, having a severe internal struggle while trying to survive, and then coming to terms with what he’s become, destroying his dream (being invisible, bath houses,etc). And that damn call to zoro during the fight to make a pledge… I mean damn I cried

Everyone is talking about how awesome Sanji is but seriously Queen is a very well crafted villain too. Despicable, ruthless, intelligent and with personal ties to Sanji's past. Oda sure knows how to write his characters to make a compelling story.
If such goodness will be in each series, then it will quickly get bored. Unfortunately, in order to understand and realize a good drawing, you need to experience the torment of a bad one. I'm sure that after Vano, editors and animators decide to "Rest"
Sanji's fight was a lot cooler and better than the zoro one IMO. It's an intensive close range and melee combat compared to zoro's one. I mean, why don't they make zoro's fight just like this instead of shooting beams from swords which is a weapon that is used in close range combat 🤦♂️🤦♂️ instead it was used as a ranged weapon lol
Because zoro is not that agile like sanji, he depend on his power more, sanji is like a blanced fighter between technique, combat speed, and raw strenght, zoro is a heavy hitter, he finish his oponents quickly because actually sowrdsmen are like that, you can see this detail in the first fight between zoro and mihawk in barratie arc, both zoro and mihawk stand their ground to give each other a final blow, while sanji vs gin was more beautiful back and forth, unfortunately they give zoro more action scenes more than sanji, but i feel like sanji is not treated fairly, if he has serious fight he will show his style more, actually even queen wasn't a good match up, he was just durable, and we need mister oda to stop putting pretty girls on the enemy crew because that the reason why sanji has less action on the screen

Wano is the only arc where we saw a few characters with a power-up : Luffy ( Advanced Armement + Advanced Conqueror's + Awakening G5 ) ,Kid and Law ( Awakening Df ) , Zoro ( Advanced Conqueror's with Enma) , Sanji ( Ifrit Jambe) , Robin ( demon fleur) , Nami ( zeus ) , Big Mom ( his devil fruit in fullpower) and Kaido ( All drunk modes who allow him to change easily his transformations dragon and hybrid , most powerful Hakke attacks with his club infused to Advanced Conqueror's and Armement+ A giant flame's dragon )
We also learned Robin has trained in Fishman Karate, Jinbe can perform non-contact Armament Haki (like Rayleigh), Ussopp can impersonate Emperors, and Brook is now a legend among the samurai.
In the manga queen couldn't do anything but get beat up after sanji used those skills. Shows how op the blue flames are. I wish they kept that in the anime

Reason why queen didn't do any attack on sanji is because sanji is too fast for queen too make any counter attack or defense.. sanji have a stealth and strong observation haki..

Agree, im not complaining, but it felt less powerfull (animation wise) than marco's kick against queen, that kick looked like it made queen fly at supersonic speed. It lacks impact, like a shockwave, or some sonic boom air rings. Powerwise is obviously superior than that kick (it made queen fly off the island) and all this shows us that sanji has the power to kick kaido even in is his final and most powerful transformation.

This arc was very long in the Manga too. The Anime stretches it out even more. So I can understand that it would feel painful. Propably took forever to reach this climax.

Sanji is pretty lucky to me compared to his brothers and even his sister. He still has his humanity while still retaining his superhuman traits, and unlike his sister who was modified to be unable to disobey Judge, Sanji isn't bound by this modification.
It was always funny to read Sanji’s attack as a french : it’s really french words in food themes, but it doesn’t meant nothing for when he attack. But I really love sanji’s style battle
In this scene if you see Sanji hits Queen even when Queen is invisible which is possible only with observation haki. This is a good foreshadowing for the person who is gonna fight with Shiryu.
@jimmyfellon3177 I mentioned "The person" so it can be anyone. But I think Luffy will fight with BB and who is there to fight with Aokiji? At the current state it will require both Zoro and Sanji to take down Aokiji so there might be a chance that other strawhat will fight Shriyu. Anything can happen

And at the end of their respective fights they'd praise one another's abilities while finishing their opponents. Something along the lines of "Your swords can't even compare to that marimo's." Or "That pervert cook's kicks hit harder than anything you can throw at me." Or something like that. Kinda like what they did in an early one piece movie (I forgot the title)

As a chef, I appreciate his cooking techniques were on point. Everytime he said a cut or a slam, he used his left leg. Everytime he used a cooking technique where you gotta sear the out side the beef bursts. That was Sanji last move. (Btw that beef burst has to happen at the right second)

In the manga queen couldn't do anything but get beat up after sanji used those skills. Shows how op the blue flames are. I wish they kept that in the anime

Reason why queen didn't do any attack on sanji is because sanji is too fast for queen too make any counter attack or defense.. sanji have a stealth and strong observation haki..
actively and purposely forgetting the sheer absolute fact that queen was distracted by that girl aswell.... queen vs sanji was determined by outside factors, sanji still has a LONG way to surpass the OG 1YC trio king, marco and ofc the DF/haki master katakuri... stop overestimating someone who won thanks to others... when oden lost to kaido "OHHH oden was distracted" when queen lost to sanji "i will wank hard for my okama twirly eyebrows boy forgeting queen received a ton of attacks while being distracted"

Agree, im not complaining, but it felt less powerfull (animation wise) than marco's kick against queen, that kick looked like it made queen fly at supersonic speed. It lacks impact, like a shockwave, or some sonic boom air rings. Powerwise is obviously superior than that kick (it made queen fly off the island) and all this shows us that sanji has the power to kick kaido even in is his final and most powerful transformation.

This arc was very long in the Manga too. The Anime stretches it out even more. So I can understand that it would feel painful. Propably took forever to reach this climax.

Queen was literally smoking by the end, but in his Zoan mode his skin doesn't really burn plus he is a cyborg.
Sanji is pretty lucky to me compared to his brothers and even his sister. He still has his humanity while still retaining his superhuman traits, and unlike his sister who was modified to be unable to disobey Judge, Sanji isn't bound by this modification.
It was always funny to read Sanji’s attack as a french : it’s really french words in food themes, but it doesn’t meant nothing for when he attack. But I really love sanji’s style battle

In this scene if you see Sanji hits Queen even when Queen is invisible which is possible only with observation haki. This is a good foreshadowing for the person who is gonna fight with Shiryu.

At the current state it will require both Zoro and Sanji to take down Aokiji so there might be a chance that other strawhat will fight Shriyu. Anything can happen

And at the end of their respective fights they'd praise one another's abilities while finishing their opponents. Something along the lines of "Your swords can't even compare to that marimo's." Or "That pervert cook's kicks hit harder than anything you can throw at me." Or something like that. Kinda like what they did in an early one piece movie (I forgot the title)

Like yes although they do win their battles it's mainly due to black beard being there. So far I would say all the commanders in black beard's command is weaker than the seven warlords except of aokiji.
