In week 11 of 2015, Flacco tore his ACL on the game winning drive for the Ravens. He stayed in the game for 3 more plays after the injury to make sure they got the game winning kick. The Colts have a QB on the bench that wants to win games for his team.

I was watching the game when Joe Flacco tore his left ACL and MCL while he was playing for the Ravens. He looked at the sideline and started to limp off; after a few limping steps he turned around went back in and completed a pass. I believe it was near the end of the game. I just remember a lineman (I believe it was) said he was looking at Joe's eyes and he knew Joe's injury was bad. That's the guy that's sitting on the bench.

I remember playing football in my youth. We were down by 4, 2nd and 10 from our own 3. Walton Wilkerson was our fullback and he broke loose for 97 yard touchdown. How pissed were we when it was called back for offensive movement (s someone decided they needed to adjust their forearm pad prior to the snap). There was a hell of a lot of discussion and we decided to do the same play again. Fortunately we had the same outcome, 98 yard touchdown run.
Shelton was pissed that his run was called back and he was winded( 4th quarter we all were). He wanted that ball and the opportunity to play, maybe we just get out of our end zone. I was the center on that team back in the late 70’s. Remember it like yesterday.
This guy is just a spoiled p….sy.
I wouldn’t block for him giving up on the team.

I wasn’t a Richardson believer to begin with, but idk how anyone could still think this dude could lead a team to a Super Bowl? I’ve been watching football for over 40 years and I’ve never, ever, seen a QB take himself out of a game unless he was seriously injured.
Lifelong Lions fan, and while he never led us to the promise land, Stafford proved he had that ability his rookie year when he dislocated his shoulder on a TD pass and stayed in for a critical 2 pt conversion - which he completed - to win a game against Cleveland. Contrast that, on a losing team, to Richardson taking himself out - while healthy - in a huge game.
    Unreal.

AR tapping out showcased a lack of confidence and urgency. As a Colts fan, I say we play Flacco and draft another QB in 2025…Adding true competition to the room will increase his urgency.

There are a percentage of athletes that tend to do that in stressful situations and learning to breath in a controlled way is part of training in most sports.
