Recently, I discovered that I have very-high IQ and that I’m intellectually gifted (before anyone asks; yes, I have the diagnosis). Unfortunately, I live in a third world country, in one of it’s less developed states. No school here has the properly educational program and assistance to students like me. My parents have no time to homeschool me, or the money to pay someone to do so. It’s amazing to know that this girl has the opportunity to follow her dreams and receive proper education, but situations like hers are not common. In reality, only a very few people have such privilege. I hope that, one day, everyone can have a chance. For now, meritocracy is a mith.

There are no gifted programs or properly educational assistance here. To make things worse, I am one year “late” at school for being born at the second half of the year. Due to the already stated lack of educational programs in my state, there are no chances of me advancing some grades or graduating sooner, even though I completely have the capacity to do so. You know, I used to be jealous of people who have the privilege you do, but now I already accepted the fact that I’ll never achieve my full potential. It’s depressing, but there’s honestly nothing I can do about it. I wish all the best for you and I hope you can achieve all your goals.
My cousins r homeschool lots of ppl say it’s torture for no summer break for any break but it’s rlly not as in school you go at your classes pace and if you skip a lesson you mostly can’t redo it as homeschooling you can start a lesson anytime my cousin wakes up 3-4 am just to finish his school work by 7-8 so he can play the rest of the day he is a year younger that my brother but one grade higher due to him completing all of his lessons for almost a hole school hear in a month
This is so cool to hear. I did something very similar, though I started at 14, pursuing my associates in physics. I just turned 16 now and am almost finished with my degree. Just glad to know I’m not the only one 😅
