Tell me which Caribbean island has really invested in mental health ? We drink alcohol as we therapy. Do we have mental health conversations. Only time mental is mentioned in the Caribbean is during a horrific murder. The amount of people I hear acknowledge anxiety now since this song is amazing. I moved from the Caribbean in my 20s to find I had paranoia and had to do therapy how much ppl is acting like it did in the Caribbean still who just paranoid. We just crack on without acknowledging. So Patrice has started and conversation we don’t have. Hopefully it continues beyond carnival. For that Patrice you have the best song right now. Somebody in her team tell her despite what she is going through right now tell her continue and use this to make changes in the region. It’s her time.
