Super Soft & Moist Lemon Pound Cake Recipe | Lemon Pound Cake | Pound Cake | Loaf ‎@alacakes_art.
I’m sharing how to make incredibly moist lemon pound cake from scratch. The cake is perfectly citrusy and moist. Topped with lemon icing/glaze. A must-try in every season!🍋
LEMON POUND CAKE:
Loaf pan size: 9×4
Ingredients:
For Pound Cake:
• Granulated sugar 240 g
• Salt 1/4 tsp
• Lemon zest from 2 lemons
• Unsalted butter (softened BUT not melted) 225 g
• Eggs 4 (medium eggs)
• Flour 240 g
• Baking powder 1.5 tsp
• Sour cream(add 1Tbsp lemon juice to dairy cream) 170 g
• Honey 2 Tbsp
• Vanilla extract 1/2 tsp
• Lemon juice 30 g
🔥 Bake at 165°C for about 60 - 75 minutes.
* Adjust the time & temperature accordingly.
For Lemon glaze:
• icing sugar 70 g
• Lemon juice 1.5 Tbsp
