they did bowsers castle 1-4, mario curcuit 1-4, etc in SMK to save memory on the cartridge due to the technical restrictions of that time. Also they wanted to port over SMK onto the handheld GBA when they made Super Curcuit so thats why theyre so similar

I like the thundercloud unironicly, it’s a double edged sword. It gives you good off-road and acceleration so it can be used to skip huge parts of the map

I wish they brought back the first person for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. I didn't like the motion controls that were enabled when you went first person (but you can turn them off in the settings and it was kind of cool)
For DS, when online worked it was always some Japanese player hacking to either just get 1st within 10 sec or just speed around the board to bombard you with shells n F with ya. For you not connecting.. are the servers even still active? And do people still play?

Nintendo closed the servers in 2014 but you can still access online through a fan server called wiimmfi
