So much love and respect after the fight, very heartwarming to see, love both of these fighters. Beautiful fight indeed!
Showing respect is good. But I just hate how Haggerty kisses the face and touches the butt of Mongkolpetch after the last round. I find that is utterlly inapropriate and disrespectfull.
@@josesantos2084 his hands might have slipped with exhaustion for the butt touching. Also, why is kissing the face disrespectful? that's how we greet each other in france
@@kimjongduck5335 You do not care about someone violating your body after beating you up. Understood.
@@josesantos2084 if the butt touching is accidental, it's not a violation. Would truly depend on how mongkolpetch felt at that moment. I don't necessarily think it was Haggerty's intent either. Also, violation means "penetration", in the definition, not touching or groping.
It's understandable that you may feel this way due to past experiences, but i don't think it's necessarily good to project it on others, especially such loaded accusations.
@@josesantos2084 you are looking way too deep into an accidental touch bro stop whining
I am impressed by the sportsmanship and respect at the end, excellent job!!!
Beautiful fighting . Thanks !
Champ showing that , u dont have to be ultra aggressive all the time to win a Big Match ...Super 👌
4:32 textbook when he can be calm, when he takes shots he’s throwing wild
Quelles superbes combattants ❤❤❤honneur et respect c’est juste magnifique quelle leçon
Always love your commentary, great video! Suggestion: could you make a video on the details/variations of the check hook?
I like seeing the different things kickboxers focus on during a fight. Like one guy is more of a clincher or one is more a boxer.
Thank you Gabriel for the commentary 🙏
damn these guys are so fkn tough
Haggerty is one special athlete. He has to potential to be one of One's mega star's
I liked how tough the little Thai fighter is, I wound up rooting for him when initially I rooted for Haggerty.
I love that fight. I re-watch it every now and then. I learn a lot watching those two fighting.
This fight and Tawanchai vs Petchmorakot.
Super combat !! Une belle boxe , respect aux deux boxeurs 🙏
Would love to see you do a breakdown on Chad Collins from Australia he is the current WBC and WMC world Muay Thai Champion and beaten a lot of the top Thais in Thailand. He is also the RISE world kickboxing champion having just beaten the Glory champion Petch in Japan this month. 65kg
Have you ever thought about competing in one to fight Haggerty?
@@APokeInTheEyetotally, I thought about it too before I remembered that I’m an accountant 😭
@@JonahsWailHahaha, respect to accountants tho - a lot of my friends are, they work real hard
I don't think he will, he's currently competing under karate combat which he might signed a contract with, and he's 37 or 38, let's be honest, the competition in one FC is much vicious than karate combat, so I don't think he will.
Great use of the elbows by haggerty.
New varga video , I like it , keep it up brother
Love the channel, but would suggest putting the date of the fight in the description!
Jonathan is as tough as they come, awesome talent too 👏
What a fight Gabriel, I felt like Jonathan Haggerty in the first, and a bit of the second round, had a bit of trouble, with defending those body shots by Mongkolpetch, but in conclusion, Haggerty dominated Mongkolpetch in every other aspect of this fight Gabriel!
at 3:39 when haggerty is coming up he pushes off of monkelpetch stomach so he has to keep it tight, its little things like that which can tire your opponent a little faster to get an advantage
I think you would do great in ONE. Juuust saying👐
I never saw a muay thai fighter pulling off bouncing on their feet,it usually turns away from MT. But haggertys rhythm so beautifully sets with muay thai like damn
They're like lovers at the end, love the sportsmanship like in bboy battles
Great match the muay thai defence close could he go both hands over ears then drive forward elbows when oppnenant close as elbows allowed to drive the guy back?
Is there anywhere I can ask questions inquiring about your online training?
This was a good fight.
Great fight. The technical sharpness and mobility won Haggerty the fight. I think the classic Thai fighters can learn from the modernized western approach.
Haggerty seems to be using more spinning back fist and elbow moves than I've seen from most other fighters. For both defensive and offensive purposes.
I love that this is more stadium style rules, than Ones Lumpinee night’s entertainment style rules.
The fast and furious pace is much more akin to Dutch style KB and takes away from MT which is more methodical.
Allowing them to work in the clinch is paramount to MT.
to me its a bastardazation of muay thai without the music and the wai kru, its as much ritual combat as it is a sport without that its just entertainment, i still very much enjoy it but it will lead to less technical muay thai, ONE muay thai is at a good place rn because the stadium scene nurtured these technical talents, I hope in the future we still develop technical counterfighting style as opposed to knockout aggressive style that this ruleset favors
Quite a game for both ones…😊
How haggerty deal with taller opponent?
This would never happen but Haggerty versus O'Malley in an MMA fight would be fucking fire. O'Malley doesn't really shoot for a takedown so this would be a stand-up fight for the most part unless Haggerty starts whooping Sean's ass enough to make him shoot
I heard rumours haggerty is planning to go into mma.... I think omalley might get face teeped if he shoots
Woooow😮
How is the love and respect between the two of them at the end.
I think a great fight would be chingis allazov and haggerty. Obv haggerty would have to gain a out 9-10 more lbs, but they fight very similarly, mainly the stance switching and striking diversity. I think it would be a great fight. Haggerty has really cemented his place in one the past year and a half. He has a great corner behind him and great trainers. They dont get enough credit and they produced one of the best.
Chingis is too big for him, it wouldn't even be a fight. Gaining 10 pounds to meet Chingis's cutweight is not a good idea.
just gaining 10 pounds isn't enough.the guy he would be fighting would be normally walking around at 10 pounds more than his fighting weight so will be much too big and strong for a naturally smaller lighter guy who has bulked up to fight in the next weight class. see Canelo Alvarez moving up to light heavy and getting beat up by Bivol
Yeah wont happen, too big of a weight difference. Tawanchai vs allazov on the other hand..
@tommaguzzi1723 what if a fighter cuts down that amount of weight or even more? Wouldn't that be just as bad?
Superhaggerty!
Lmao who's that tiny guy. No business fighting a gigantic haggerty😂
Haggerty is so fluid and crisp and elegant, like watching a psychotic ballerina
I totally thought nong o was gonna steam roll him but he proved me wrong
Good fight, self respect each other both fitghter show professional
Look at the size difference
Haggerty is muay thai version of float like a butter fly and sting like a bee.
👍👍👍👍👍
I hope he doesn’t waste his talents by signing for ufc. He’d just be taken to floor constantly and submitted/pounded. Not many would touch his standup, but it takes a loooong time to develop a solid ground game
Woooooooooooooooooooooooooow
Love Haggarty😊
I bet Haggerty would kick ass at higher weight with more mass behind his technique
I feel like with all these commentary video lately, that you're preparing for some LIVE commentating gigs, is my hunch at all true Gabe? lol

Mongkolpetch always plays with his short, maybe he should wear a smaler shorts.
Haggerty fights at your weightclass in Kickboxing?
Well, I'm exited for the fight. Not picking favorites here ;)
I wouldn't say they get angry, actually they have much less ego than us westerners.
It is common that a corner relize the fighter canot outclass the other by technique, so they tell them to pressure/get the ko.
มงคลเพชรเก่งนะ..ถ้าเขามีลูกหนักแฮกเกอร์ตี้สู้ไม่ได้แน่
Very nice fight. I just hate how Haggerty kisses the face and touches the butt of Mongkolpetch after the last round. I find that is utterlly inapropriate and disrespectfull.
Thai homie still wondering why we're going so hard in the very first round.
XD
Haggerty best Farang in the game.
Mongkolpetch e Rodtang sono due gocce d’acqua 😂
Where is Mongkolpetch now? One just abandon him like many fighter? He's looking good not bad at all.
It is not muay thai to run... it is a stand and bang sport
It s their national sport but this is not muay thai right? Not thai rules I mean plus small gloves
Modified rules and equipment. As you said, smaller gloves don't like Clinch and will break it up ASAP. Besides being in the Asia market, they’re trying to reach Western audiences.
@@letsgetit90 muai thai is beautifull I don t find it here hope rral muai thai is not dying
@@letsgetit90 Foolish and its not a surprise to see Muay Thai lose in boxing when they're not permitted to use one of their core weapons. Boxing work is harder to pull off in MT specifically because of the clinch, and imposing artificial rules takes away from the realness of it.
@@TheNEOverseall the thai weapons are allowed here except a prolonged clinch, however hagerty dominated even that. The best Thais like twanachai and rod tang still win here.

We don’t need the commentary
Bro, a good boxer would have uppercut Mogkopletch chin TO THE MOON with all the body shots he was throwing.
Stop the voice over, please
I'm amateur boxer, I noticed that thaï boxer have zero punching abilities.
Almost as if they’re not boxers but Muay Thai fighters weird huh😂 different sport means different weapons and choices when it comes to offense.
@@user-tx6zl1yq5s I didn't express myself right, i'm talking about the ppl from thaïland, I feel like they're training is unbalanced and they sacrifice their punches too much.
@@user-tx6zl1yq5s So having a typical thaï style shouldn't forbid you to throw a proper punch. His punches are ridiculously uneffective, even some young ppl that I train are more dangerous with their hands
varga talks about this in some of his videos. the next generation of thai fighters may up their punching game.
@@kojsiusoaliu6772 yeah that’s been a problem for Thai boxers against westerners we have a more boxing focused training system and they don’t unless they’re a Muay mat

Haggerty is hands down one of the most technical fighters out there: good shot diversity and selection, distance management and a switch hitter as well. He has all of these qualities while maintaining his flow and being "elegant" (in its own way). Incredibly hard to decipher and replicate.
and ko power
แต่ก็เคยโดนรถถังน๊อตคนะ
