The couple in the bar that were being harassed by the speeder bike gang were Luke Skywalker’s ‘friends’ in A New Hope. They were Fixer and his girlfriend Kamie Marstrap They were at Tosche Station in the novel and in a deleted scene from A New Hope. Luke had an unrequited crush on Kamie who thought little of Luke and called him ‘Wormie’. These deleted scenes can be seen somewhere on UA-cam.

So now we care about deleted characters? The Book of Boba Fett has 2 great episodes that he isn't in, and is hit and miss otherwise on what should have been a major bad a..

Love these reviews. I really enjoyed the Tuscan back story. So much great stuff left in this season.

The place where Boba went to get the speeder bikes was Tosche Station, the place where Luke whined he was supposed to go to pick up some power converters, and the couple in the bar were friends of Luke's. They - well, the characters anyway - appeared in a deleted scene in Episode IV.

The Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett are partly based on old western movies. I think Tuskens are kind of like Native American tribes. Some are friendly to outsiders while others are not. Which I think is really cool to see. That not all of them were bad.

If you read the Kenobi novel that takes place before Kenobi show and right after episode 3, there is a whole lot more detail about tuskens, specifically the tribe that got decimated by Anakin.

I love that they put an homage in reference to the deleted scenes from ANH. One of the few things this show did right in my opinion.

Hi Tara! Glad to see you getting to episode 2!
1:40 - It's good to know that Max Reebo (the blue elephant looking guy playing the keyboards) survived Return of the Jedi. =D
2:08 - I won't give you his backstory (that would be a spoiler), but I will tell you that Wookie's name: "Black Krrsantin" (I think I spelled that correctly, if not someone will correct me). Let's just say that he could probably kick the bejesus out of Chewbacca, and leave it at that. (That is not speaking ill of Chewbacca, either. I wouldn't do that.)
3:20 - Fun fact: This location is "Toche Station" that Luke mentioned in A New Hope. There is a deleted scene that was filmed but not used, where Luke interacts with some childhood friends, including Biggs Darklighter (whom he ran into on Yavin 4, and who died during the Death Star trench run). This should give you a minor idea of how vast what Obi-Wan called the "Gentlemen Wastes" are.
Addendum to the above point: Niktos are notorious assholes. ;)
6:25 - Not sure if you noticed or not, but those are Pikes operating that train. Boba is about to do something few can do and live to tell about it: screw over the Pike Syndicate. Maybe you just didn't recognize them, as (IIRC), this is their first "live action" appearance, but were in the Clone Wars cartoons.
And yes, it's really WILD seeing this kind of character development with the Tuskins. They even made it clear that some tribes are more "hostile" than others.

Pretty weird rooting for the Tuskans, isn't it? I love this show and Temeura Morrison does a hell of a job as Boba

Ha ha ha Star Wars is dying. A lot of the original Star Wars fans have left, such as myself. I am only a George Lucas Star Wars fan. So I would only watch movies that he created. Those movies are Star Wars 1 through 6, Clone wars seasons 1 through 5, And there is one exception for a Disney Star Wars movie. And that is rogue one because George Lucas called the writer and gave his seal of approval. Disney backstabbed George Lucas by letting him think that they were going to make his sequel trilogy that he was already working on before the sale of the company. After it was sold, Disney decided to make their own sequel. Trilogy, and not let George Lucas know until after. The only fans that are left are woke Disney Star Wars fans. Within the past year to 2 years, Disney Lucas films has lost about a billion dollars. Instead of making money, they're losing money. The evidence is there that Disney Lucas films is losing money and even Forbes just recently mentioned that Disney Lucas films has been losing money. Disney hasn't even recouped the money they spent on buying Lucas films. None of the Disney Star Wars TV shows have made the top 10 instruments. The only show that probably had high ratings. Was the mandalorian season 2 last episode. The episode that Luke Skywalker appeared the young Luke, not the old Luke. But that was just Disney dangling the keys in front of us and then putting it away. In Ahsoka How does the character Sabim ren from Rebels. Gets stabbed by a lightsaber in the very first episode and lives. While male jedi's die. If you get stabbed by a lightsaber, you die no matter if you're male or female. There is no coming back from a light saber stabbing. Because light saber is hot enough. That will melt your insides.

Toxic fans like yourself are why he sold Star Wars, when you lot claimed he “r*ped our childhoods,” you then pretended to not have been the centre of prequel hate and blamed a supposed media campaign against the prequels waged by news orgs and film critics, when in reality as previously stated it was you lot, sending death threats to Ahmed, Lloyd, and Hayden, equating being an adult who liked the prequels with being a child molester, then from the moment the first trailer dropped for the sequels, we got a whole bunch of racist bs from the so-called true fans before even a single movie had even come out, a lot of unfair comparisons and criticisms levelled at Force Awakens, followed by Last Jedi being completely misrepresented, and Kelly Marie Tran being harassed off of social media by you lot, the only movie I’d say was definitely bad out of the sequel trilogy was Rise of Skywalker, the so-called true fans were easily triggered and emasculated when Cara Dune was introduced in The Mandalorian only for the so-called true fans to pretend to have always loved her when Gina revealed just how obnoxiously conservative she really was, these same so-called true fans also declared Ewan to have labelled all Star Wars fans as racist when he and Disney having learned from the hate campaigns waged during the sequel trilogy against certain actors for totally legitimate reasons warned Moses Ingram about a certain response from your corner of the fandom,

Also it’s Sabine Wren, and the difference isn’t ‘wokeness,’ it’s the availability of medical attention.

@ripleyjlawman.3162 I really don't care if I spelled her name right or wrong. I use voice to text and it doesn't get the spelling all correctly. So you're saying she got medical attention that replaced a lot of her insides. The lightsaber melts a good portion of your insides. It's not like getting stabbed by knife Which leaves a hole only.

People dont like Book of Boba Fett because of these early episodes. I dont really understand that. This is doing what the prequels did, which is world building. Honestly though, lately i've been seeing the shows as Tabletop campaigns. Each episode is one session. Kinda funny to imagine Dave Feloni and friends turning a game into a show
