I’ve been using the iPhone 13 since June this year and it’s awesome! I’m using the 128GB option in Green. Battery life is great as well. I’m a photographer and the cameras are stunning!
Is a 128GB enough for an iPhone if you like taking videos and photos on almost a daily basis? I'm considering buying the iPhone 13 next week and I'm not sure which storage option should I pick.

The 13 was my first iPhone since the 3GS ! Had loads of Androids in between …put simply , best phone I’ve ever had , battery fantastic , camera also , I may be unusual but music play back is very important to me , Apple Music / iTunes gives a fantastic sound via headphones ….256 gb for me due to music collection , very happy ..1 year in battery health is 93% so a good two years left , I’ll more than likely replace the battery than the phone ….I have a screen protector and a vinyl case and the phone is in perfect condition despite the odd drip ….

@@MenTallisT_96 …..only you can justify the price …that said , sound is great , screen is great , camera (stills ) great , camera ( video ) outstanding, IOS vs Android …for me IOS after a period of adjusting is better , build quality is superb , I have cover and screen protector which I urge you to get …..overall I’m delighted , as you know with your 3GS , the 13 could last for 6 years or more ……I believe the 14 has one or two more video features ( Cinema Mode in 4k as opposed to 1080 on the 13 ) , that may or not be worth the extra to you ….overall I’d recommend the 13

Hey, that was a good one year review on the iPhone 13 . i’m watching this video after the iPhone 14 has been released and I would say the 13 is still a better deal it’s 100 bucks cheaper and it also comes with a Sim card tray unlike the iPhone 14 which is missing that feature is really no difference cameras or hair better you know those kind of minimal upgrades but save yourself 100 bucks and still have a Sim tray and get the 13
@@LordBagdanoff I guess it depends if you travel it’s just so much easier to get a local Sim and put it in the phone. I also have a spare phone for runs and so when I go on my long runs I just take my Sim out of my 13 and put it in a used SE phone I got for $72 and then I have a small phone that I run with listen to podcasts and music.
The 14 is the better deal if you crack those glass. Cheaper and easier repairability than the 13 and no one’s mentioning that. Check the repair cost of both phones.
I have a 13 mini 512gb in Product Red and I love it. Very tiny/compact and very lightweight. Personally I don’t want to change soon and I think this will be my main driver for at least 3/4 years. The 13 lineup is really good 👍🏼 Ps: love that midnight color in the sun ☀️ where it shows that deep blue hue but I also love my red, very vibrant and has its own personality (if you could say that for a phone 🤭) Pps: where were you at 8.55? Spain?
I just got my pink iPhone 13 two weeks ago and I’m soooo satisfied after using an iPhone 8. You know, iPhones age well but the difference is still enormous. The performance, the cameras(😍) and the battery life… my goodness perfect.

The only problem I found from shifting to the iphone from android was, all the icons and texts are much bigger ( Despite putting the least font size and not having zoom ). The android allowed much smaller icons and much smaller text.
for me its kinda the opposite. i switched to iphone a month ago and everything on the iphone was smaller than on the android. i dont consider it as a bad thing i quickly got used to it and i dont remember if my android was with default text size or bigger since my android shut off and never run on again. sorry for my gramar mistakes.

I'd like you to do a video on sustainablity and reconditioning Mac products etc. We don't need and shouldn't be upgrading every year - absolutely no need. I have had a reconditioned iPhone 6 and it's been going strong for five years. iPhones and Macbook should be fine to use for at least ten years.
Great review. I’m very happy with my 13 mini I got it July to replace the regular 13. Was happy with the regular 13, but after holding the 12 mini of my wife in the hand a few times, I wanted the 13 mini. Battery-life on the the regular is better, but the mini gets me easily through the day. Keep up the good work, Dion 👊🏼👊🏼

The reason you saw no signs of burn in was because of an iPhone feature introduced in iPhone X called pixel shifting not sure what it means but it prevents burn in
In almost all aspects, it is more satisfying, from display (size 6.1 inches) to the battery performance and with a overall good performance with good built quality and last but not least the price, makes it a perfect buy for many people.
I have had my XS for five years and love it only want to upgrade because of the new design and battery life. Thankfully I have had no signs of burn in at all which I was afraid of when originally getting the XS.
I Just got the iPhone 13 256gs “starlight” and I’m loving it, recently had the 11 for a year with 64gs and I was struggling pretty bad with the storage, so I decided to skip 128 gigs straight to 256gs, since I’d probably run out of memory still most likely with 128 and refuse to live with doubt again, it’s my first iPhone with over 64gs and it feels almost endless, absolutely no regrets, I plan on having this baby for about 2-3 years. If you have the 12 or 13 don’t upgrade, but if you have the 11 or order, the 13 is a game changer. Beautiful phone.

2024 and still using iPhone 13. For me, it's a really reliable phone and I've been maintaining it's battery capacity by using a battery limiter (mine is Chargie).
Good phone but I think what bothers me most is the lack of optical zoom. I think the pro models should have like 5x or 6x or something and the standard models at least 2x . I think it’s a bit weird paying all of these money and still lack this feature.
Got my ip13! Trade in with my beloved 12. Main reason was post ios 16 update the software experiencing issues. Wifi grey out, bluetooth unusable and it restarts automatically. The secondhand iphone i got got scratched and dent so i applied skin and changed the tempered glass… but id recommended getting matte hydro gel. Looking new now
Mine is 7month old. Dropped it a lot of times and had a very tiny scrath that you can not really notice if you really look for it other than it still looks good as new and…. I havent put any case since i bought it, i only have tempered glass but never had a case. I mean, why should i put a case on it since it was advertised as durable as hell and i dont want to waste how good it looks being a color Green. Mine is still new AF.
I've been using iPhone 13 for the last 10 months. My Battery health is at 97% but I only get about 4 and a half hours of screen on time... I don't know why... For the first, let's say, 6 months battery life was great, but now I'm struggling to get through the day with light use... Does anyone have that same problem or have a suggestion on what to do?

if you look at my 13-14 comparison you will notice that my conclusion is that it is still worth and if one is on a budget, the 13 is preferable over the 14. Battery is great btw

Hi, thanks for your question. I was a bit disappointed when after the Apple X it changed to ultra wide sense, although that has some advantages as well.. Now on 14, great to have the tele lens with optical zoom, The same holds true for the 13 Pro Max

Hi Daniela, that would mean another 5-6 years because of soft ware support. If you use in 1 1/2 year 96 GB of the 128 GB I might suggest to go to the 256 GB. In itself 128 GB should be enough for most users, especially if you now and then “empty” your photo and video part

Hi, enjoy the switch. I consider the 13 a very high quality phone. When coming from the s22 you are used to the 120hz, so you might consider the 13 Pro for that reason (only). But 400 euros is a lot of money
iPhone 13, but if I had the money I would obviously go for the 14. Or 14 Plus. I find the Pros pretentious. Specially with their price tag outside the US.

@@DionMedia Sir you are not true. Why comparing peak performance (phone performance not battery) with battery health number i.e 80%? Apple says that your iPhone will throttle it's speed and performance until and unless your battery health goes below 80% as then apple has to throttle cpu to decrease performance as the battery wear can't provide enough load to let CPU run at max power. However, the battery performance which is screen on time, users can definitely feel their screen on timr going lower and lower as that battery health falls. I'm right now at 86% and my phone supports peak performance because it's above 80% BUT my phone isn't giving the battery backup as when it was brand new holding battery health level at perfect 100%. The same phone I have. It has been a very good phone. I always use a case. I learned my lesson with the iPhone 4S.

I havent put any case since i bought it, i only have tempered glass but never had a case. I mean, why should i put a case on it since it was advertised as durable as hell and i dont want to waste how good it looks being a color Green. Mine is still new AF.

Hi Anne, with its processor the 13 should be good enough for a heavy user. If you want the best of the best, then I would recommend the 14 Pro series
I've been using iPhone 13 for the last 10 months. My Battery health is at 97% but I only get about 4 and a half hours of screen on time... I don't know why... For the first, let's say, 6 months battery life was great, but now I'm struggling to get through the day with light use... Does anyone have that same problem or have a suggestion on what to do?

if you look at my 13-14 comparison you will notice that my conclusion is that it is still worth and if one is on a budget, the 13 is preferable over the 14. Battery is great btw

7:20 i just found this channel by youtube recomendation, im so glad that someone is talking about BURN IN. This thing is just going on for like 5 years without any high attention. I had problems on samsung s7, s8, s10 , but barely i can see , on iphone that effect is not that big deal, its not showing since iphone X (when they get OLED on their phones). In your case I would say that 128GB is the minimum. If you could afford it always go for the higher storage

Hi, thanks for your question. I was a bit disappointed when after the Apple X it changed to ultra wide sense, although that has some advantages as well.. Now on 14, great to have the tele lens with optical zoom, The same holds true for the 13 Pro Max

Hi Eliana, both are well geared towards their allotted GB of RAM, but in general one can say that more GB of RAM will allow more Apps to be open at the same time.

Hi Daniela, that would mean another 5-6 years because of soft ware support. If you use in 1 1/2 year 96 GB of the 128 GB I might suggest to go to the 256 GB. In itself 128 GB should be enough for most users, especially if you now and then “empty” your photo and video part

Hi, enjoy the switch. I consider the 13 a very high quality phone. When coming from the s22 you are used to the 120hz, so you might consider the 13 Pro for that reason (only). But 400 euros is a lot of money

Hi, thanks for your comment. I politely do not agree as (see also Apple website) it is generally accepted that when the battery life is below 80% its peak performance will go south.

Apple says that your iPhone will throttle it's speed and performance until and unless your battery health goes below 80% as then apple has to throttle cpu to decrease performance as the battery wear can't provide enough load to let CPU run at max power.
However, the battery performance which is screen on time, users can definitely feel their screen on timr going lower and lower as that battery health falls.
I'm right now at 86% and my phone supports peak performance because it's above 80% BUT my phone isn't giving the battery backup as when it was brand new holding battery health level at perfect 100%.
