As a brand new player to LA, most of the talk in this video is over my head. Although the talk about healing and how it works vs 'the holy trinity" style MMOs was very eye opening. I probably should revisit this video once I have st least + 30 hours of game play under my belt. Thanks for the content

Funny enough the class that was my first choice to main ended up being my least favorite class, and the class I was least interested in ended up becoming my main. Once you start playing the game you just never know what class clicks with you.

I quickly learned this isn't WoW where you can carry bad teammates as a badass healer/support class, if one person sucks you're losing. My main is now Blaster/Artillerist which is one of the last classes I tried. It's low tier at the highest ranks, but it's very fun to me, has the highest combo damage and very rewarding if pulled off.

Currently sitting at around 440 ilvl 3 days in to launch and i do 50+ of the damage in guardian raids Deathblade is a beast. Waiting for servers to come back up and going to go smash in PvP. Granted it is a new game and people still figuring their stuff out. None the less I am having a blast.
The Virgin berserker with the GIGA CHAD sorceress, the floor PoV and the solo carry, the stick and the properly formed, the clown and the serial killer, good content as always!
Took me a month on RU to figure out what class to main. Finally settled on Shadowhunter. There's a weird sense of relief when it finally clicks cause every class is amazing.
@@MrDCHun I didn't play any PvP but if you want to see some there's a streamer by the name of lin_null on twitch that mains it at the moment. Learned alot from him. It's very strong all around, it's more of a ranged poke class where you choose your engages carefully especially when you want to transform into your melee Demon Form.

This is the first game I've been ardently following it's entire career, eagerly looking forward to it's US release, since SWtOR came out. It really is IMO the epitome of the combination of games like Diablo 2 and the MMORPG's that I fell in love with back in their days of glory. @@Highonwater3X Totally! It's a very interesting update and change, and I want to see how it plays out. This is part of the reason I keep a group of MMO's on my PC even if I'm not playing them. FFXIV, GW2, LotRO, SWtOR...those are my standard "Cyclers". I'll usually run through them a few time each year, depending on whether they have an expansion or not. Like right now it's FFXIV and GW2, but SWtOR will be there once the update hits.
I'm really looking forward to this game. The way you described combat sounds very similar to GW2. Break bars and party synergy, and everyone stacking in melee range...with the mastery style leveling after 50....etc. I'm exited to play.

Shadowhunter is my first level 50 and I already know I'm gonna main it. It just fits my playstyle from other games perfectly. Also gonna make sure to have a zerker alt though cause they are so damn cool.
1:04:15 Think there's a mistake there? Summoner doesn't seem to come at release for EU / NA (at least it's not on the official website) it's bard / sorceress for mage.
Sorc was swapped in for Summoner for the NA/EU release. This was introduced recently so this video is slightly outdated. They were also unaware that we were launching in Tier 3 so that's something to consider as well. I think Stoopzz said they might do a class update video to go over what T3 and all these changes mean for NA/EU launch.
I started with sorc thinking I would love it but it was to spammy then I tried deathblade and it was to squishy and now I finally found shadow hunter that’s not spammy has a good debuff for bosses does dot and is semi tanky it’s the best mix of what I was looking for

Hey, great video but I got one quick question. In Shin's Party Synergy Guide it says "2.) Same synergy does not stack." and he groups synergies afterwards while in Saintones guide it says "Synergies with similar effects do not stack from people playing the same class in a party but generally stack with people playing a different class." So which is it? When I play Sharpshooter/Hawkeye does my increased damage recieved debuff stack with that of a Scrapper/Infighter?
Same synergy stacks between different classes. So if a party has 4 each different classes with the same synergy, then the synergy stacks 4 times. Same synergy doesn’t stack only between the same exact class.
Might you know if we will be getting the up to date patched classes on release? or will we get the classes as they were initially when the game first came out?
oh wow.... I got shocked when I saw Santoine here! I remember playing Maplestory 2 with him years ago. He was sitting at around 15-30 viewers all the time, he has grown so much =D happy for him
About the reaper thing, it's lot of ppl jumped onto playing a reaper. Unfortunately its play difficulty is very high and requires lot of resource(hence it should not be the 1st char). Now the playing reaper is very competitive and unless u are really good you will have to face lot of rejection from other party members. I thiink SG is doing really good job and taking oversea release as 2nd chance to provide more smooth gaming experience to all the players outside of Kor by holding back few char and balancing gaming mechanics.
So i saw on the list Stoopz that there was no Reaper is that a class specific or is it going to come out in USA? cause when i was watching it in vod's i was like bro mobility an it does it all an is reliable.. pls tell me brotha

What class/subclass would recommend to someone who likes setup/ payoff mechanics? A few examples of mechanics I've enjoyed are Festering Wounds in WoW, Caitlyn's trap in LoL, and Corpse Explosion in Diablo 3.
Is there an idea of how often they release new characters? I finally set my heart on playing Summoner but found out they wont be going live with the NA release

Bosses can be learned in anything. That class knowledge expands your mastery so much on Bard. Gonna have a lot of respect for the good ones.

I believe it is a reference to Monster Hunter, which has a gunlance weapon type which play similarly.
