Man next you should start checking out We Came As Romans. Also another band from Michigan. Their clean vocalist Kyle pavone passed away but his voice is really good too. Alot of energy.
I'd be curious to see what you think of a band like Sky Eats Airplane. They were never super huge, but they put out two really good albums and they were what I always called "nintendocore" because most of the electronic notes are 8 bit. It predates all of this I See Stars however and is not mixed as nicely as this stuff is. If you do check em out check out Giants in the Ocean
I will say this about I see stars. They have amazing tracks BUT there is alot of trash on their 1st 2 CDs. (3d and end of the world party) it's just very poppy. There are a handful of good tracks on those cds but honestly their breakout is from digital renegade and up.

U can probably get that tone, not to hard, just need good eq, correct distortion/drive setting, n either echo,reverb or delay.. Then they could play the clip through midi pads .. I think its coming from a computer tho .. it sounds sick none the less xp
