Videos like this are so enjoyable to watch. Unfortunately they always remind me of how long it takes and how many times I screw up projects that better fabricators consider simple tasks. Props to all you geniuses. I respect your talent!
I had a best friend who could do anything..a jack of all trades...reminds me of Chris...same kickass fun attitude and willing to help those who'd help themselves and not expect others to do everything... He moved to Florida a few years ago...miss that dude... They're all very lucky they have a Chris!
Chris & Bec Cutting and Welding Together Again! Y'all fabricate that stuff like I used to do with plastic model kits. Your knowledge and skills are amazing, and fun to watch. That's a big stretch! Over-piping that axle = Mind Blown! LiteBriteNationExtendsTheLOutOfTheLJ!
Thanks for another great video. I’ve daily driven my LJ for 10 years now, and have done a regear, etc, but the work never ends, lol. The ideas and things you’re doing in this build is fantastic. Using the dodge front axle is excellent. Keep up the great work! LJ Nation!
Girl, you are so ripped!! And u kick ass at metal work!! So much talent in that shop!!! Thanks for teaching us these skills and showing us how u fabricated things. Take care guys can't wait for next video. Devo
That's hardcore Chris. Congrats on showing something I've never seen on YT before, deleting the disconnect and sleaving that axle. Impressive. Also, if you ever have to replace that AC compressor, you have to pull the engine it looks like. Better put in a good one!
Awesomeness...cant get enough of the shop videos...Beck and Chris both killing it...tha KS for bringing everyone along on the process of the LJ.......egarly awaiting your next video....Safe travels
Build is going nicely. Thumbs up. 👍🏻 plus I know why Chris looks so damned familiar when he started building on Lite Brite… I used to watch West Coast Customs so when a few videos back that was mentioned the 💡 came on.
Looks great. I recently did an LS swap on my 1 ton LJ and after wheeling it a couple times I found my front dif was hitting the steering pump/alternator bracket. When cycling the suspension there was no contact, but we made the mistake of not resting the jeep at flat full bump. Make sure you check that clearance at full bump sitting flat. I ended up breaking the bottom connection of bracket off when hitting a dip at sand hollow. I went home and welded up a brace to support the now perfectly "trimmed" bracket.
I bought the same front axle but have a Dana 80 rear. I’ve decided I’m going to cut up the 80 and make it a front axle. Im glad y’all made this video because now I know how I can use this dodge Dana 60 on my 07 Silverado.
Chris...bro...just wow! 🤯 You are skilled my friend. I can't wait for this series continues. If you can ever make a vid explaining how you pieced everything together at the end of the build it will be something I would replay just to understand how.
Just wanted to say I was having a stressful day in this crazy world, in these crazy times, you two have such a fun-loving peaceful side that took all the stress away, thank you!
Thanks for explaining your sign Bec, figured you was esplainin that it was big mt box!!!! BTW, this custom stuff seems to come so natural to you now Chris, your ability to draw it in the air, and see it in your eyes, before its even made is fantastic. I'd like to be he man with the pipe, in your shop!!
You must have some decent processing power to display your CAD designs so fluidly at such high resolution. Your 3d printer produces surprisingly strong, heavy and durable engine mounts. Just amazing.😆
This build series is great. Lottery isn't a ticket anymore. It is you two working on my truck making it all it can and should be. Thanks for the hours of entertainment. I really appreciate it.
I can't wait to see the next video. High quality works and complicity of both of you is really funny to watch. I'm looking forward when the LJ is finished. Herve from France.
One tip dry ice the axel tube wile heating the outside tube they will slide in like butter, been useing this technique for 35 years of heavy maintenance work, we machine our stuff to 1 thousand fit, it will not come apart, even used is steam heated shaft’s,much easier and faster, same process works for hers and shafts, like the bearings your going to have to install on your axels/ lockers good luck on your builds, also I would have used porta band saw or bench saw to cut tube much cleaner, less prep to assemble
If you don't want to break the front axle, you could have gone with a Dana Super 70 from a GM Topkick for the front. You probably wouldn't need to do anything with it to make it work. But since that is too late for that, you really should look into bearing girdles. These put bolts through the cover to stabilize the bearing so they don't spread under torque. You can review Carl Jantz's information on that. I did this for the Dana 70 used in my front wheel drive motorhome after installing the 502 in it.
Man watching Chris and bec takes me back to when I was a kid watching Ian and jessi on xtreme 4x4 on Saturday mornings! Love love love the shop vids!
R.I.P.Jessi.
yea, it really does.
Man what a throw back. I still find full episodes on UA-cam every now and then
Dude... I wasn't a kid watching them, but these two definitely give Ian and Jessi vibes.
The good ol days unfortunate to hear jessi passed on

you guys should get a portaband. they make table top models very reasonably priced. its a must have for any garage IMO.
Thanks for explaining your sign Bec, figured you was esplainin that it was big mt box!!!!

This project shows raw talent, experience and imagination orchestrated into mechanical motivational `art.
Lite Brite Garage thank you for your time.
You guys (and gals) do enough axle work, you should consider getting an induction heater for your axle tubes. Just a thought. God bless and stay well.
Could have used a lathe for them tubes. Ask Santa for a lathe. Nice work!!
You guys make a great team…. The axles are KILLL’R…
I love you guys! and always hate to see your videos end. Give us more more more please!
Stay on the mountain Bec! No Crashing!

So jealous! Love the build so far. Would love to do that to my 05 LJ. Keep up the great work!
Love the fabrication going on. Can’t wait to see it get dirty.

Yes! More episodes!!
Y'ALL DO GREAT WORK.
GOD BLESS...
That looks like a very expensive CAD program with all types of bells ‘n whistles … 👍🏻
And he knows how to operate it so well just whips that stuff out
You know more about axles alone, than I know about all stuff combined.
Good to see my favorite Duo , see ya on the next one
Loving all these build videos, can't wait for the next one! Thank You BOTH!!
Building an axle is not "mechanic", it's art !!!
Nice job. If you had a rosebud for your torch, heating up that tube would have gone much faster.
I think it’s safe to assume that y’all have been trained in the metallurgic arts.
Man, this is some heavy duty stuff you guys are doing. Very impressive.👍
I love you guy’s build! It makes me want a jeep!!!! ❤
LOVE these build series videos!!
I absolutely love the videos. Love to see the other side of off-roading. Love all that shop s***. Great work!!
