I do understand how expensive it gets just going to an arcade, these days. Which makes me ponderously thankful that a local arcade opened up some months back that gets it, too. They opened up with '80s in mind. '80s decor. '80s gaming machines. '80s pricing! It has been a while since one could go to an arcade and pop a quarter a play. And it was bringing in a gaggle of kids. You'd think they have their fancy gaming consoles with modern graphics at home. But the old ways were drawing in the crowd. Granted, it feels great when a $20 can go a long way. You can even camp out on the arcade couch and watch '80s cartoons. How does 50 cents for 10 minutes sound for that? (I really should suggest that they hook up a retro '80s gaming console. Some classic NES is quite possible.)
I’m lucky enough to be within a reasonable drive from FunSpot, the huge arcade in New Hampshire. There’s also a fantastic barcade in Salem MA called BitBar.
Yeah, one of my local arcade/restaurant have gotten rid of all their retro games(including my favorite, Big Buck Hunter HD) and replaced them all with modern ticket games. One of our local theaters(Ronnie’s 20) also had downgraded(going from a 2 story arcade to 1 story with little games) and replace all the retro games too. I just wanna play the classic Big Buck Hunter game man but they all got replaced with the Reloaded version(I swear that version’s light gun mechanic is much more broken than the HD version)
Why is it dumb? Why might you not show pre-recorded gameplay and be live to focus talking to the chatters? I've been doing it because I don't have the energy to stream when I've set into doing it, would rather just record progress and show it at the end of the week.
@@Roadent1241It seems like people will ask that sort of thing, in order to get the streamer to acknowledge them. Sometimes it can be an ego thing. I think it’s on the same level as someone going into a woman’s stream, and saying “Show bobs”.
@@BfDelano yeah, I think people often ask the prerecorded question to be passive aggressive. If someone is going to show prerecorded footage they would let the stream know and put it in title.
I love that you played Coin Game again recently, I have it on Steam and keep checking back for new updates, even though my current computer is a potato at playing it.
Christmas with the Kranks is a pretty bad Christmas movie. I watch it every year 😅 by the way Moose, if you like the Evergreen Trio, you should check out the Eddie Higgins Trio, very nice jazz little to know singing
Dude. The QuickDrop clone game is broken. Missed eight balls and it gave out Jackpot. Then did it again without nailing all fifty. I wonder if others are also broken, as I bet the lone programmer of this game is far more interested in creating in-world malls, climbing rocks and promised features for future upgrades then testing things he made years ago. Thinking of that, I'm fairly sure that we're never getting that multi-player mode... like, ever. EDIT: Apparently, the Popcorn Pete game is, too. I'm watching this readout going negative 20... -30... -50 while the coin fails. Guess the snow facade was too interesting to test the games.

Try letting the dev know in a bug report?
👆🏼 second this. Just a simple heads up to the dev is a super helpful action in the long run (if you're interested in that sort of thing)
