Massive ''Y'know'' Attack
I bet they never thought they'd be put on the spot in front of a camera years later to be interviewed here! 'you know...' :). ...and I think their fans 'do know!!!' :)
😆
I'd love a new massive attack album
Rob is such an incredible person 😌
Say what you want but these guys have been playing music since the 80s (Wild Bunch) and to this day they still push the envelope because they always bring something new to the table. You can argue all you want about the direction they took now and then but not many people in the industry have been moving forward the way they did. They never wanted to please the long time fans, they fell out with a lot of people, they stood up against the Iraq war but they never compromised regardless of brand image or fan base. They put Bristol on the map and they still stand tall to this day. Their back catalogue is huge and diverse which truly reflects how ahead they’ve always been. Their tracks with Sandoval or Fraser or Thorn are out of this world…
This interview would only be 15 minutes if the phrase "you know" was cut
lol 🤣
Historically, you know... :D
Much love.
i love massive attack so much. they are the best no question at all. amazing group.
In-depth interview with Massive Attack about the making of the Heligoland album.
My favorite band 100%UK
enlightening and very insightful
these guys rule
LP6 CONFIRMED. TITLE: "YOU KNOW"
Featuring Thom Yorke on vocals :D
Jokes apart, thank you very much for this great insight on a band that speaks rarely abou thei works.
ps. But the Thom Yorke call on vocals on a Massive track is not a joke at all :D They collaborated with almost everyone...only Thom is missing :D
Cause Yorke is shit :*
That would be a dream thom yorke is my favorite artist and im a big MA fan too
Cant stop listening to Girl i love you - this piece is killing me, love it like hell
Clever guys
The level of integrity of these guys is really something else.
Massive attack are brilliant ❤💗✌️💗✌️💗✌️☮️🥂
Great interview. Glad y'all make and share. Instructure to those outside your area. Cheers.
musical geniuses.
i just wish Grant would let D have his say.
Is that a banksy behind the sofa? ....ya know.
Just love the ducting good stuff guys
Was there ever a consesus on whether or not 3D is Banksy? I remember the interview when Goldie slipped up...but cant recall what came of it all.
historically
You know ;)
YOU KNOW is said about 1000 times lol
Great interview though. Love these guys.
@@Thegenuus but it wasn't 'errrr' so that's all good!
you could replace every word said of 'you know' and 'sort of' from this interview with '''eerrrrrr''' - thank goodness its 'you know'
and we types 'do know' what they mean (I think; I know I do!)
Such an annoying filler that Americans use and it sounds so stupid.
Does anyone know how tall they actually are? I guess that Robert must be bellow 170 cm and Grant is more than 2 meters tall.
Daddy G: 7'4"
3D: 4'7"
😆
Daddy is about 6’5-6’6
and 3D is about 5’8”.
Keep in mind Robert Del Naja 3d Never finished high school, but how that man so brilliant and the way he thinks, He is a great example of typical Aquarius.. We don't need much education to educate we are born highly intelligent/genius and cool.. The god should have make more aquarius the world be wonderful today Tricky also aquarius.. but Grant Marshal here is Sagittrarius their chemistry with him.. show why Aquarius and Sag union always great,. cause we both wants to create great things and do great for mankind
makes so much sense, massive attack is such an aquarius energy band. Rebel, humanitarian, activist, genius, brilliant, underground, mysterious, out of the schemes. I always got that feeling. and yeah aquarius+sag works great.
You people are funny.@@mrswagaswaga
school is overrated....get your education for yourselves and get rid of your crazy star sign tish, dang !
@@mrswagaswagaI am an Aquarius born in 1978, the year of Aquarius. February 2nd is my day. Everything you said is spot on but also the farthest from consistently accurate....depending on how you want to look at it, I suppose...

3d with his pretentious crap ! he killed the group....
Completely disagree with you. I don't think 3D pretentious. He didn't kill the group at all.
@@cristinapereira9787 he did kill the vibe of massive attack trust me; listen to the albums after mezzanine they are tosh, 3D del naja with his avant-garde trendy bullsh*t concepts !... i know these people very well... when mushroom (andrew) left Massive in 1999 he took the soul ! all im going to say is if you know you know !! no BS allowed
@@truetothegame2928 I think he and Neil Davide in the album 100 th window they did a very good job. There's music I don't like others I like. Was different from mezzanine but I don't think 3D pretentious at all. I think the bands like to change. Not just Robert.
@@cristinapereira9787 100TH WINDOW ; that slab of fukrys; the facts are we all know what that was all about; Rob is 3000% a pretentious righteous twat ! and his brush with the law lol,,, & Neil Davidge he is about as musical as a tractor.. LOL ! that was the LP that was supposed to elevate the band... it did the opposite ! Like I say had mushroom of stayed in the group the music would still be relevant and meaningful !
> I know these people very well...
Do you know them personally?
Yes, Del Naja looks like a pretentious man however if we will look at mushroom's activity and his music we see that the projects in which he was involved are really tosh. And as for Neil Davidge so he said that they don't want repeat themself and the band won't create something similar to Mezzanine
