@@gutzberancid7298 depends what you mean by kicking you out, Fade is usually only going to last 3 shots, which is v quick if using a monarch.. use gurellias in the mist augment and it'll last 5-8secs regardless of how many shots the monarch puts out in that time

Spent an hr farming Lt Preston, in Tazendeer Ruins, Nekrotafeyo, after i killed him, went up and the elevator and hit the save point to make the farm faster. Started at M4, got a good drop, which turned out to be my best drop of the 4, put it up to M6 and then M7. So was fun seeing the crazy buff to my damage did. Managed to finally roll the As Skill Starts perk, so now destroying M4. but very squishy, and when they respawn all around u that can be rough. Will try and find a balance for my Mayhem level as i max out, currently level 60
It's a good build. Mobbing is super easy w/ Cosmic Stalker. Since bosses were buffed, they're all bullet sponges now. Joey Ultraviolet just took some patience. I killed Vermi using the Pearl without much trouble. When I used Jakob's Company Man it was rough. I noticed a huge difference. Both times, I was mostly using Queen's Call w/ 100% dmg increase while Action Skill is active + Re-Volter + Bounty Hunter + Ghast Call grenade.
I’ve noticed with this build your pet in higher mayhem levels does like constantly like it’s ideal for enemies to shoot at him so you can utilize the Hidden Machine and Not My Circus but he has like no survivability lmao
Most Jakobs weapons still heavily benefit from it especially if going for boss melts, but if you dont want, I'd recommend eager to impress for action skill cool down or self repair for health (:
You don't neeed to buy any of the dlcs to make the build work, you'll just have more variety in weapons to use if you buy the dlcs (any of them have good weapons)
They don't work from your inventory, the only anointments active are the ones currently in use; your shield, grenade and the weapon you're currently holding
Small correction. Getting the reload speed from the orange tree is better than the purple one. Because ot is a hunter kill skill so it's boosted by Big Game
Awesome build! Trying this out with BL3 after a long break, but Wonderlands made me go back to it. One question: during gameplay it appears the build uses Guerrillas in the Mist, but when going over skills, it has been changed to Not My Circus. What am I missing? perhaps just switching back and forth demanding on the situation.
Is this build still viable? Fadeaway flak was my favourite before I took a long break and would like to play it again but I heard the rakk stab build is best for him.
Oops. Looks like i just started a takedown having just beat the campaign and farmer a bit, now level 48. That might be rough. Whats the best way to farm towards this build? Got 60 diamond keys left. But not sure thats the best way. Just spent 3k eridium trying to get the right annountment on the shield and didnt get it..

As soon as you switch weapon the anoint is no longer active, so if you switch to something else with 100%ase you have to wait until your action skill comes back again (:
thats definitely the best spot, combined with checking the vendor at the start of the run. But if you're bored of that Graveward is easy to kill for a heap of world drops orrr if you can fight tyreen without her being able to fly away she drops twice as many so is a little more efficient with a good build

A little late after the release of this video: I’m sort of confused, I’ve watched this video 6 times through and through now and I’m not sure how you keep firing your weapons and fade away stays up? When I use it, I can only fire it 4 times and it ends straight away. I’m a returning player after 2 years of not playing due to technical difficulties and so much has changed. I know it’s late but if you could help me understand that would be awesome. Edit: just watched another video showing them using the first green tree Action skill augment. So nvm I figured it out haha

And I always wanted to try fade away, however back when The game only just dropped fade away was nerfed heaps. Glad it’s strong now.
is this build still viable in 2024? I'm using Killer 6's Destroyer of Worlds Flak build, there's not that much of a difference between them as far as I can see but im noticing my damage could be better and your build looks like its killing things faster but i'm just unsure
Still exactly the same! No game changing updates have dropped since this video. I don’t remember K6s off the top of my head, likely a few skill point things and I spent more time in end game (he does more playthroughs) so I’ll likely have better gear in terms of passives rolls on class mods, artifacts etc probably the main damage difference
@@KodyMcHugh I switched up builds about an hour ago, Main difference is the "vibe" of the builds. DMG output is higher on yours with a large but smaller pool of gear in comparison to K6's. Melting bosses much quicker with non god roll drops, and i'm using a Transformer (before I go get a Re-volter) and a pretty meh Bounty Hunter mod.
Yeah ofc use whatever you like, it just min maxed things. The only real difference between them is the jabber stacks a skill faster, but the war loader itself does more damage 🤙🏼

Yeah its a guardian rank perk, "overkill" from memory, essentially if you do more dmg than you needed on the last shot of killing an enemy, that extra dmg is carried to your next shot - or a portion of it
I need help I have tested every weapon you showed in the video and make definitely not that much damage I have the bounty hunter, the pearl of ineffable knowledge equipped and I dont know what else I have to do to deal so much damage
Basically GITM gives you severely reduced critical hit damage when it is active and with the capstone megavore we can score critical naturally anyway. In addition we can more easily proc N2M Elemental Damage and 100% Weapon Damage anointments. The uptime is the greatest deciding factor becuase if you go GITM then you need anointments that proc during your action skill but GITM only lasts a short amount of time. Without GITM we can go anointments that are usefull while our actions skill is on cool down.
can always see in the bottom middle of the screen I play on M11, not sure what isn't working but I assume you just need better gear/passives/anoints/elemental stacking if you're lacking dmg in comparison. They're the usual things at least
Fade naturally lasts 3 shots, if you want you can use Guerilla's in the Mist augment on the left side of green tree to make it last 5seconds, you can boost that to 8 seconds with a blue tree ability that increases action skill duration (:
generally it's more damage, i think stackbot has a higher ceiling but bounty hunter has a much higher average (imo). kill skills stacked constantly in mobbing situations which you can stack for boss kills vs stackbot has been bugged multiple times andd needs higher fire rate or high pellet count weapons to be good
Great video. I started playing bl3 again. I don't understand the part where you said you get all of your hunt skills activated BEFORE you fire a shot. Can you explain that please? You talk very fast and I didn't understand it
He's doing that by using the mitosis hunter seeker grenade that shoots the enemy as it tracks them, which in turn stacks the hunt skills. So just throw 2-3 grenades before a boss fight, wait a few secs for the stacks and then shred
Nah you only get the anoint bonus for items currently in use. So you can only have the shield, grenade and the weapon you're holding anoints active at one time (:
How long does it take you to farm your gear with the right passives and anointments ? You are on pc did you even farm them because your grenades are identical with a diffrent element

All from 'head count' hitting crits gives you action skill cool down, the monarch (vladof AR) has heaps of pellets and rly good fire rate - that with 'megavore' capstone (20% of shots are crits) you get it back extremely quickly even if you're not aiming for crit spots (:

For me it's the other way around I like Fl4k way more and didn't really like the others at all I'm hoping for bl4 to have a character I enjoy as much as fl4k hoping it releases some day in the next few years
Just got 72 and dropped kings fall - 39k damage one. With this build, but seems very underpowered, not doing much boss damage with it - using Guerilla mists skill, don’t have the shield or the artifact, is that why?
I use a stack bot with crit and smg and sniper damage, which seem like a god roll. I use it with the pearl and I still don't have anything close to this damage. Also I have the right annoints on all the smgs like the monarchs and everything else.
Stackbot is a good classmod, often bugged from bs stuff, but it is also only for multipellet fast fire rate weapons like the monarch or most shotguns. Otherwise the benefit is really low bc it wont stack fast enough. So out of SMGs and Snipers the Sandhawk is rly the only one that comes to mind thats worth using with it (over a bounty hunter) and then still its only using 2 passives - where mine use all three. That'll be the main difference in your dmg (:
@@KodyMcHugh so would you recommend using bounty hunter exclusively? I have bounty hunters with bad rolls, so I’m farming for some now. I think I’ll try to get lucky and get the roll with crit and jacobs, but that’s going to be a one in a million chance from my experience.

Hi, it may sound stupid but about the .sav file, what am I suppose to do with it once I download it? Do I just put it in my game's directory or somewhere specific in all of my game's folders that are in it? If someone can explain the process to me as if I don't understand anything about computers, that would be nice.
@@horribleperson9531 tnx a lot but the problem is that after savegames I have a folder with random numbers and letters and then inside it there are 3 sav files with names ,,1''; ,,2''; ,,profile'' I put kody's sav where these are but nothing happened am I suppose to delete the others and then or smth else?
@@whatamievendoingwithmylife790 Don't delete those because they are your other characters, the only thing i can think of is having your game closed while you put the file in.
Before I even watch this is this build more effect than Gamma Burst War Loader Flak. Also my personal opinion but harvest is a mandatory skill for raw damage regardless if your pet focused or not.
Why have 150% extra for 3 shots when you can have 100% extra for the full 5-10 secs it takes to get your fade back, that way your damage is up constantly, rather than huge for fade and down bad after it
I only use that for the kings/queens call for raid boss kills in 8 sec fade. Otherwise it's more dmg to use 3-shot fade and loop all of your skill tree abilities that activate on action skill end/start plus the 100%ase anoint (:
imo it base of many thing. The first thing is type of pet. The melee is always easy to dead, even with full blue skill. THe spider type is my favourite type. The second thing is you need to put some skill in blue tree to make pet stronger. And the lastthing, sometimes the pet is stupid, because it is AI/ example when you fight wotan, it will come to suicide with wotan shield!
I have extra skill points I've checked the build over and over but everything matches or did I miss something and if i didn't what should i use them on, I have an idea of what to use them on but i would like your opinion/advice. Edit: Figured it out I somehow did not see the purple tree.
Admittedly I haven't played borderlands 3 in a while and I don't own one of the dlcs(I haven't even finished the clusterfuck dlc yet) but I have a tip to make the infinite crits build flak even stronger, There's a legendary shield I forget the name that has the effect that on shield break you get a 5 second invulnerability buff effect well if you can get that shield with the annoinment on skill activate trigger all effects that activate on shield full charge or break you essentially become invincible so long as you keep spamming your skill fade away also you need to max out the perk that reduces skill colldown on every critical hit the equip a charm/accessory/talisman thing to raise it up further(5 or over) and you'll always have your skill up n ready the second you come out of fade away so your essentially invincible with infinite crits
Pair this with king/queens call, the convergence, that one assault rifle from megavolt that fire one round but it splits like a shotgun spread n fires real fast I forget the name, any fast firing atlas gun or the ruby, that one rifle from that floating enemy in the town map of the hammerlock wedding dlc , the ice rifle that has sticky grenade rounds that shoot more grenades when they hit a target towards everything around the target

@@crazyk6041 most situations the bounty hunter will be better, unless bossing with a monarch/hellwalker (something with a lot of pellets that shoots fast). But it also depends on what rolls you have for each classmod (:
GITM is great while you're in it, but once its finished you lose all your dmg from the anoint and the fade crit buff. With 3-Shot you have 3 powerful shots, then activates 100% dmg anoint helping you get fade back asap bc you're still doing dmg and looping your skill abilities like "the power inside" You constantly have dmg up with this build - GITM is great dmg only while in fade and you struggle without it

I was searching for fl4k vids and MOXSY posted a video where fl4k get a 400 % bonus from corrosive elements using INTERPLANETARY stacks etc. and showed it on MALIWAN. the vid recommended using corrosive all the time but the description says BONUS corrosive damage per stack upon killing robots and you know other than MOXXI dlc and one stage in PSYCO krieg dlc, THERE ARE NO ROBOTS. killing humans give me AS damage which is useless on fade away as fade away does not have a ACTION skill damage. Am i missing what MOXSY was saying or it just applies to ROBOTS and WOTAN Thanks dude. I sure took your time. My bad.
@@hamzaahmad1345 that much extra corrosive dmg would be good against anything - just more so robots incl wotan. Anything else its 90% effective (from memory) but bc you have so much dmg stacked up you'll still be doing a lot against regular flesh enemies (:
@@KodyMcHugh Yeah, Problem is that NOT too many YELLOW HEALTH ENEMIES in main game. if i kill red health(Regular enemies) or blue ones (Guardians) it does not give me Corrosive bonus damage Fl4k does not need Damage boosts at all. hi can you tell me for someone who does not have dlc that she is the best weapon to build herself and then I can do chaos 10 with it
There's quite a few non dlc weapons but my favourites; King/Queens Call, hellwalker, Garcia, hellshock and the monarch (:
Hellshock is so good i got halfway through dlc 2 with it while playing 1 mayhem above when i got it

I need help I have tested every weapon you showed in the video and make definitely not that much damage I have the bounty hunter, the pearl of ineffable knowledge equipped and I dont know what else I have to do to deal so much damage
Can you explain why guerillas in the mist isnt better
Basically GITM gives you severely reduced critical hit damage when it is active and with the capstone megavore we can score critical naturally anyway. In addition we can more easily proc N2M Elemental Damage and 100% Weapon Damage anointments. The uptime is the greatest deciding factor becuase if you go GITM then you need anointments that proc during your action skill but GITM only lasts a short amount of time. Without GITM we can go anointments that are usefull while our actions skill is on cool down.
What mayhem level is this? I'm on 7 and I tried to fight graveyard but didn't seem to work?
can always see in the bottom middle of the screen I play on M11, not sure what isn't working but I assume you just need better gear/passives/anoints/elemental stacking if you're lacking dmg in comparison. They're the usual things at least

Fade naturally lasts 3 shots, if you want you can use Guerilla's in the Mist augment on the left side of green tree to make it last 5seconds, you can boost that to 8 seconds with a blue tree ability that increases action skill duration (:
Could I ask why bounty over stackbot
generally it's more damage, i think stackbot has a higher ceiling but bounty hunter has a much higher average (imo).
kill skills stacked constantly in mobbing situations which you can stack for boss kills vs stackbot has been bugged multiple times andd needs higher fire rate or high pellet count weapons to be good

He's doing that by using the mitosis hunter seeker grenade that shoots the enemy as it tracks them, which in turn stacks the hunt skills. So just throw 2-3 grenades before a boss fight, wait a few secs for the stacks and then shred

How well would this build perform without annointments, playing with BL3 Redux, which removes annointments.
Redux has it's own scaling to account for that, I've only played redux for a week or two but the build worked perfectly for anything I tried (:
does the the 100% fade away dmg increase stack for each weapon is equipped?

Nah you only get the anoint bonus for items currently in use. So you can only have the shield, grenade and the weapon you're holding anoints active at one time (:

what is the best way to max out your duration and how often you can use fadeaway, i see people play and they are in and out it constantly!?
i think its from flak's eager to impress and head count skill tree, basically when u kill an enemy or crit it reduced the cd on ur skill
How long does it take you to farm your gear with the right passives and anointments ? You are on pc did you even farm them because your grenades are identical with a diffrent element
If you have the directors cut DLC You can always re roll your anointments which helps out a lot
probbaly used a save editor, so basically cheating

All from 'head count' hitting crits gives you action skill cool down, the monarch (vladof AR) has heaps of pellets and rly good fire rate - that with 'megavore' capstone (20% of shots are crits) you get it back extremely quickly even if you're not aiming for crit spots (:

Never been a flak fan compared to the other characters in this game but this is actually a damn good build.
For me it's the other way around I like Fl4k way more and didn't really like the others at all I'm hoping for bl4 to have a character I enjoy as much as fl4k hoping it releases some day in the next few years
I just finished maxing out zane and i just beat flak's story and unlocked mayhem now tryna level him up to 72 to see the insane dmg power

Just got 72 and dropped kings fall - 39k damage one. With this build, but seems very underpowered, not doing much boss damage with it - using Guerilla mists skill, don’t have the shield or the artifact, is that why?

where did you get that head for fl4k
I use a stack bot with crit and smg and sniper damage, which seem like a god roll. I use it with the pearl and I still don't have anything close to this damage. Also I have the right annoints on all the smgs like the monarchs and everything else.
Stackbot is a good classmod, often bugged from bs stuff, but it is also only for multipellet fast fire rate weapons like the monarch or most shotguns. Otherwise the benefit is really low bc it wont stack fast enough. So out of SMGs and Snipers the Sandhawk is rly the only one that comes to mind thats worth using with it (over a bounty hunter) and then still its only using 2 passives - where mine use all three. That'll be the main difference in your dmg (:
@@KodyMcHugh so would you recommend using bounty hunter exclusively? I have bounty hunters with bad rolls, so I’m farming for some now. I think I’ll try to get lucky and get the roll with crit and jacobs, but that’s going to be a one in a million chance from my experience.

Hi, it may sound stupid but about the .sav file, what am I suppose to do with it once I download it? Do I just put it in my game's directory or somewhere specific in all of my game's folders that are in it? If someone can explain the process to me as if I don't understand anything about computers, that would be nice.

@@horribleperson9531 tnx a lot but the problem is that after savegames I have a folder with random numbers and letters and then inside it there are 3 sav files with names ,,1''; ,,2''; ,,profile'' I put kody's sav where these are but nothing happened am I suppose to delete the others and then or smth else?

Before I even watch this is this build more effect than Gamma Burst War Loader Flak.
Also my personal opinion but harvest is a mandatory skill for raw damage regardless if your pet focused or not.

The hellwalker go for while fade away is active weapon damage is increased by 150%
Why have 150% extra for 3 shots when you can have 100% extra for the full 5-10 secs it takes to get your fade back, that way your damage is up constantly, rather than huge for fade and down bad after it

I only use that for the kings/queens call for raid boss kills in 8 sec fade. Otherwise it's more dmg to use 3-shot fade and loop all of your skill tree abilities that activate on action skill end/start plus the 100%ase anoint (:

hi nice video and very nice build but i have 1 question. Why is my pet always dead?
imo it base of many thing. The first thing is type of pet. The melee is always easy to dead, even with full blue skill. THe spider type is my favourite type. The second thing is you need to put some skill in blue tree to make pet stronger. And the lastthing, sometimes the pet is stupid, because it is AI/ example when you fight wotan, it will come to suicide with wotan shield!

I have extra skill points I've checked the build over and over but everything matches or did I miss something and if i didn't what should i use them on, I have an idea of what to use them on but i would like your opinion/advice.

Admittedly I haven't played borderlands 3 in a while and I don't own one of the dlcs(I haven't even finished the clusterfuck dlc yet) but I have a tip to make the infinite crits build flak even stronger,
There's a legendary shield I forget the name that has the effect that on shield break you get a 5 second invulnerability buff effect well if you can get that shield with the annoinment on skill activate trigger all effects that activate on shield full charge or break you essentially become invincible so long as you keep spamming your skill fade away also you need to max out the perk that reduces skill colldown on every critical hit the equip a charm/accessory/talisman thing to raise it up further(5 or over) and you'll always have your skill up n ready the second you come out of fade away so your essentially invincible with infinite crits
Pair this with king/queens call, the convergence, that one assault rifle from megavolt that fire one round but it splits like a shotgun spread n fires real fast I forget the name, any fast firing atlas gun or the ruby, that one rifle from that floating enemy in the town map of the hammerlock wedding dlc , the ice rifle that has sticky grenade rounds that shoot more grenades when they hit a target towards everything around the target

@@crazyk6041 most situations the bounty hunter will be better, unless bossing with a monarch/hellwalker (something with a lot of pellets that shoots fast). But it also depends on what rolls you have for each classmod (:

Why dont he use gorrilas in the mist with the fade away anoinment for every weapon?
GITM is great while you're in it, but once its finished you lose all your dmg from the anoint and the fade crit buff. With 3-Shot you have 3 powerful shots, then activates 100% dmg anoint helping you get fade back asap bc you're still doing dmg and looping your skill abilities like "the power inside" You constantly have dmg up with this build - GITM is great dmg only while in fade and you struggle without it

I was searching for fl4k vids and MOXSY posted a video where fl4k get a 400 % bonus from corrosive elements using INTERPLANETARY stacks etc. and showed it on MALIWAN. the vid recommended using corrosive all the time but the description says BONUS corrosive damage per stack upon killing robots and you know other than MOXXI dlc and one stage in PSYCO krieg dlc, THERE ARE NO ROBOTS. killing humans give me AS damage which is useless on fade away as fade away does not have a ACTION skill damage.
Am i missing what MOXSY was saying or it just applies to ROBOTS and WOTAN

@@hamzaahmad1345 that much extra corrosive dmg would be good against anything - just more so robots incl wotan. Anything else its 90% effective (from memory) but bc you have so much dmg stacked up you'll still be doing a lot against regular flesh enemies (:
@@KodyMcHugh Yeah, Problem is that NOT too many YELLOW HEALTH ENEMIES in main game. if i kill red health(Regular enemies) or blue ones (Guardians) it does not give me Corrosive bonus damage
Fl4k does not need Damage boosts at all. I will just live with that.
