I'd argue that hustle culture isn't "for" anyone. Human lives aren't meant to revolve around productivity. It develops from the dehumanization by capitalism because capitalism uses money to determine worth. So, we overcompensate and try to justify our worth through "productivity". I love that you talked about the diminishing returns you get from pushing yourself too far. Easy sub.

I legitimately know people that are naturally "wired" to always be on the go, and to always want to be productive. And truth be told, the people who are naturally that way and thrive in those conditions, those are always going to be the "superstars" of industry and capitalism.
There's no denying that if you have two people with equal levels of talent and skill, but one of them is more naturally capable of longer periods of work and dedication than the other, that person will have the advantage and probably be more fiscally successful. It's not guaranteed, but it's likely.
But what I'm really saying is that it is okay if that's not me or you. You don't have to be that very top uber driven 1% to still find success. But, the trick is to understand who you are, what you want, and how you're going to get it. Then stick to it as best you can, while showing yourself grace when you fail. At least, I'm pretty sure that's the trick. Who am I but some guy following these observations I've had to see if I can make it happen? I guess we'll see. I'll be here documenting the process either way.
I really appreciate you taking the time to comment with your kind and thoughtful words, and thank you for subscribing.
