hey alix, monica vinader do necklaces where you can adjust the length in any length you want. They have a little pearl on the clasp where you can tie the chain longer or shorter, just how you like it :) I have one of these myself and they are pretty handy.

You can get the best gold filled chains from Plazko on Etsy! I have the rose gold filled chain and its so beautiful and delicate, and the gold doesn't fade off like gold plated things!!
