In that final cutscene -- I've come to interpret it two different ways. One being that was actually Cayde, getting a proper, heroic sendoff of a Guardian...the other being that was an embodiment of the Traveler speaking to your Guardian -- like Cayde was one with the Light/Traveler at that point. Like Sundance told Cayde, she was "what he wanted her to be". Your Guardian reaches out to the Traveler and begs for the Ghost's life back, Cayde appears because he is recognizable to us and well, no longer among the living. When he says "you're my favorite, don't ever forget that", I think it is again a twofold thing. Cayde is saying goodbye and getting the closure/peace he sought, but the Traveler is also speaking to the Guardian in that moment. Humanity were the chosen few, the Traveler's favorite. Really a well crafted story and though I don't play video games all that often anymore, it brings a smile to my face to see Destiny getting the ending it deserves.
Yeah you're right, I was just shocked that Zavala was using Darkness since he never wanted to use it since we learned about it in Beyond light. It was cool seeing him embrace it
@@ButterIsPro Bungie has been building up for Zavala to slowly start doubting the Light. He even questions how the Traveller can give Light to the Hive during Witch Queen. Finally after Targe's passing, He comes to terms with the fact that it is not the Light/Dark that dictates who we are as a guardian but how we use it. Then asks Ikora if she can teach him to wield Stasis. I was shocked when he initially asked Ikora too :)

@@ButterIsPro Towards the end of the campaign, there's a part after he loses Targe where he asks Ikora if she will teach him to use Stasis. I think it might have been a radio transmission. There is SO MUCH in this expansion it's hard to remember. lol
You can hear the conversation where Zavala decides to wield Stasis in the radio message after you completed the final campaign boss. He asked Ikora to teach him how to use stasis.
6:35 real as fuck, modern standards have shifted to needing a ping system, about time D2 does it as well. Now with fireteam finder it's more necessary than ever.
I'm glad you agree! I think we more closed comms fire teams people are not forced to speak but having a pink like on a champion or on a objective would be awesome for people to see it and use it as a tool
@@ButterIsPro Exactly. And it's like aim down sight or sprinting, one company did it and everyone immediately saw all the use cases for it and now it's everywhere. I can't even begin to imagine the level of accessibility this would open up for new raiders (not to mention veteran raiders, like that one all-deaf clan).

It ain’t over Guardians… trust and believe.. the Witness mentioned the Winnower. I doubt they/him will be the villain with the rest of the episodes… they’ll save that villain for D3
As more of an update the glitch you could do in nightfalls, raids and the crucible i think, the other 2 100% becouse the clans i ran with was just always doing somthing 12 man lol

This chapter has ended for destiny 2, but a new era has begun, with a new chapter to boot. Long live the second golden age for all.
