How to turn off automated invoice emails in QuickBooks Online

If you don't want QuickBooks Online to send emails to your client without your permission, you will want to make sure that this setting is turned off.

How do I make the email "send later" box default to be OFF on the Sales Receipt?

Gear icon -> Company Settings -> Sales -> click on pencil to right of "Sales form content" -> Preferred Delivery Method- change to "None", click Save.
