This tiny and cute lady can play the violin very gently and softly. And at the same time, she can play powerfully and energetically - so that it seems that the violin will not be able to withstand such torture and the strings of her violin will break in the end. As an artist, in her own way reading the work of the composer, she perfectly expresses her free and bright soul, her live spirit. It seems that she is a perfect harmony, rich in her feelings. She is happy in playing her responsive violin. And it is incredibly appealing to the listener. Single features of her personality seems do not prevail in her separately, but form a whole living harmony. She is beautiful as a person. She doesn't really play music, but she sings it.
@@leonardoiglesias2394 I listened to some Kavakos videos. Yes, he has high skill and an extraordinary understanding of a piece of music (and the beauty of music). But Bomsori's music also has something more (and this "something" is priceless to me). Therefore, personally, I simply cannot compare Bomsori with other violinists.

If you are talking about some similarity of impressions from the violin playing of Kyung Wha Chung and Bomsori, then it seems to me that it would be more correct to say that both Kyung Wha Chung and Bomsori stand on close value or worldview positions (regarding - what is Music in its essence in general; why does Music exist; why is it important for people; etc.). Still, with a closer look, you can see that both Kyung Wha Chung and Bomsori are very different. Isn't it true? However, both of them are very rare talented musicians who turned out to be able to completely turn their faces to that immense universal mental area that they brilliantly feel (or see and take into account in their activities) as very important. And this is a valuable area that attracts so many people and to which everyone is drawn or unconsciously strives. Isn't it true?
Felt sorry for her with all the mistakes, but listen to Heifetz play this and you will see why he needs to be brought back as the standard. He was and will always be the greatest there ever was! All contemporary violinists must listen to Heifetz to understand that technique is the pathway to the goal of true musicality.
It is possible to understand the motives for your comment. Although it is difficult to agree with it. Is it worth walking away from live life (instead of understanding it)? And WHY go so far into the past from today’s realities and look for a semblance of fictional comfort in invented abstractions? After all, today we live in a turbulent era when most schoolchildren ALREADY widely use artificial intelligence. These are schoolchildren who will soon transform our world, create a new life and completely new realities. Please take a closer look at Bomsori violin playing. Should technology be an end in itself, and not a means for expressing human essence? The dramatic changes in our historical era are due not only to artificial intelligence, but also to information technologies, which have radically transformed communication between people. Isn’t it possible to see in Bomsori violin playing at least that humanity that is so lacking in the performances of many other artists? ... One commentator said that Bomsori is an undeserved gift to humanity. I completely agree with him. ... I hope I haven't upset you. I just want to see the truth.
