Problem is with the rules and thinking of IOC : Last year in Delhi she(khalif) failed the gender eligibility test for the World boxing championship and was disqualified just hours before her gold medal match in women's World championship due to high level of testosterone. Her DNA test also proved that khalif is having XY(male) chromosomes. Taiwan athlete(Lin Yu-ting) also lost her bronze medal in same competition after she too failed to meet the criteria. But IOC says it will not discriminate the athlete on the basis of testosterone level or DNA test.IOC is just saying that her passport mentions her female and she has participated in Tokyo Olympics so she is qualified. But again the question lies that is this the correct yard stick ??

Problem is with the rules and thinking of IOC :
Last year in Delhi she(khalif) failed the gender eligibility test for the World boxing championship and was disqualified just hours before her gold medal match in women's World championship due to high level of testosterone.
Her DNA test also proved that khalif is having XY(male) chromosomes.
Taiwan athlete(Lin Yu-ting) also lost her bronze medal in same competition after she too failed to meet the criteria.
But IOC says it will not discriminate the athlete on the basis of testosterone level or DNA test.IOC is just saying that her passport mentions her female and she has participated in Tokyo Olympics so she is qualified.
But again the question lies that is this the correct yard stick ??

But then why did the World Boxing Committee didn't allow her to participate in world boxing championship. Also in another video it was shown that in DNA test she had XY chromosomes. Everything is confusing. IOC should provide all details and result of tests.

She was declared female at birth. Even if she has XY chromosomes it doesn't mean she's a male because there are some people who have XY chromosomes but they are born with female reproductive system and could also become pregnant. Just search Swyer Syndrome
