Travis always looks so fucking insanely happy as he sings songs about doubt, disconnectedness and disappointment. I remember going to see them in Poughkeepsie with a good friend of mine who wasn't familiar with them and playing their latest CD (Emergency & I) on a boombox on the back of my car for him when the D-Plan van rolled into the parking lot and started making loud comments about how this music sucked and other taunts. Which utterly confused my friend until I told him that the guys ragging on the music and the music coming out of the boombox where one and the same. Such a great live band and way too nice a group of guys.
I really thought those weird synth sounds were some weird overdriven bass melodies the way they had on "A Life of Possibilities" and "I Love a Magician". am a little disappointed

Imagine being Travis Morrison playing a Pitchfork event. That's the power of forgiveness right there.
Lmfao
What did he do?

more like that's the power of a paycheck.
@@estebandido4988 they basically ended his career lol
I've gotta say the drummer's NPR tank top is definitely an "I play drums in the Dismemberment Plan" vibe, so he's got that nailed down.

I love the two guys high-fiving right at the end.
Couldn’t have ended better
Pitchfork, you should really upload more of this set. It was one of the best shows of the festival and this one performance doesn't do it justice.
They're all doing the standing still.
turn up that fuckin synt
gotta agree, i love that synth but they drowned it... still amazing
this band is the best band.
that's all.
One of my things before I die is to see this band!!!! I've been a fan since 2010 when I waz in the 7th grade I heard them.
wow so young...i was a fan since senior year high school back in 2003!!
One of my favorite songs.
really looking forward to seeing/hearing them live at the Virgin FreeFest in one month!
Love Easley's face when Travis says that York Peppermint Patty comment... a few seconds after he says it Easley is like what the fuck hahahaha
Magic drummer!

I have yet to see a Dismemberment Plan video with even one dislike.

What a dead crowd
i didnt know he couldnt sing
the three albums weren't evidence enough? still one of my favorites
I love the vocals. The song is a bit boring (except for the drums). First time hearing this band
sorry if im late but i guess its the mixing that makes the song kinda boring. The studio version way better.
