I've been on cinematography youtube for a decade and I have not seen a video of this quality in terms of teaching and SHOWING how real cinematic looks are done. This is absolutely insane. You've got yourself a very inspired fan.
Thank you so much for sharing the information about the setup. Some information about the camera settings would have been highly appreciated as well. 🙂 (at least by me) 😊
I just came across your channel and have to tell you: your content is amazing! Simple yet clear breakdown! I will surely use your techniques. Keep it up, man!
Amazing cinematography man. I was trying to do a similar look for a music video shoot a couple of weeks ago..It was so hard. The way you shape light is so beautiful! Also on question, The low shutter effect at 4:21, i can't seem to pull it out even if i get the shutter angle to 360º on the BMPCC. any tips?
@@ANDBERY I literally read your reply and went just now to try it at 5fps.. my good how come i had never thought about it 👀😄 I previously had a GH4, and it just need it to change the shutter speed down to like 1/2 of a second, not having to change the the fps. So I'd never thought about it. Thanks for the reply and precious tip 🤟🏻⚡🎬
when he used the word "Cinematic" he actually meant it. Great job honesty i'm impressed!! I got a question, is it actually OK for someone to use your techniques??
Hey mate, thank you! I used very simple (seriously) techniques of working with lighting. These are work with contrasts of colors, light and shadows. In this case, the image looks not a flat. All these tools can use any who want to make something cinematic.
1. What lens Lomo squarefront 2. What camera Bmpcc 6k 3. What gimbal 4. Did you use peter mckinnon vnd and backpack? Yes 5. What iso Iso 25600 6. What wb? 5600 7. What shutter speed? 1/50 8. What apeture? f/1.8 max bokeh 9. Which lut? Peter mckinnon luts
Hey mate. The color grading process is not a simple process, and I scare that can tell you nothing useful on this theme. Because I grade the video like an amateur.
that first shot. all i could think about was nicolas winding refn. one of the first 'youtuber' cinematography videos ive seen that feel ACTUALLY filmic
Lighting is the key to unique and beautiful imagery. People overrate cameras and underrate lighting; myself included

You basically "blade runnered" the set. ;)
whoa. Can I get a 1 hour extended version of that beautiful intro montage :O
Always wanted a vid just like this from you! Just the best bro...
Thanks mate!
im so impressed, not only by the breakdown, but how you don't let the foreign language stop you. Excellent work all around
Thank you
Amazing work! You are very generous to share the breakdowns, congrats! Did you use any film emulation plugin to grade the footage?
Thanks! I use a few tools. Look this video - ua-cam.com/video/fN8vWBTmGb8/v-deo.html

Excellent walkthrough. The word "cinematic" is often abused and thrown around a lot. But, in this case, your lighting was very cinematic. Great work.

Скажи пожалуйста, ты вссегда используешь второе нативное исо у БМ для ночных сцен?
