And of course, one of their super-super-superhits that is widely popular among fans as well as casual listeners, Mein Herz brennt (the opening of Mutter), is also essentially a scary fairy tale.
Not listened to the album at the point of this reaction as I get the videos and then the album and Rosenrot will be another 2 albums away. Good to know what I have to look forward to though so thanks for the heads up.

The song was written for a boxer as his entrance song, but he finally rejected it as too heavy. Fun fact: he chose "Simply the best" by Tina Turner... and lost the fight! Karma exists 😂 So the band members went into heavy mindstorm session, searching for consensus on the video for the song. Some ideas were like them being the team of "Enola Gay" on mission to drop the A-bomb on Hioshima! How they made it to the Evil Snow White, overdosing gold? Have no idea, even after watching their explanations in "Making of" 😂 Looking forward to seeing you review of "Links-2-3-4" 😎 Have a great day! 😁
What a fool, deserved to lose in my book for trashing this song for Simply The Best. Love the idea of the Enola Gay video. I hope we see that concept come up again at some point.
@@PopCultureProductions I can imagine how epic it would be. On the other hand, it was shot many years ago, they didn't have huge budget then and might end up like "Benzin", which looks really ridiculous 😆
Truth. I guess we have just become to indoctrinated in the Disneyfied versions these days to expect the original dark tones coming back in. I for one am all for it though.
