I also found this from somewhere very far away from what the comments find this game as, the only thing I find in common with this game and where I found it is the raging and insane difficulty
@@ownageDanrespectively: inferior game (and terrible port), horizontal bullet hell 🤢, and mechanically borked black sheep of its series. Great choices of games to port by CAVE there! Next up, Bee Storm.
@@ChrisStoneinatorThat's like, your opinion man. Mushihimesama plays differently, I wouldn't say it's inferior. As for Daifukkatsu, the base game is still really good imo and Ketsuipatchi is pure adrenaline. Haven't played Deathsmiles so can't say anything about it. Although, I really do hope for the M2/ShotTriggers ports to join the PC...
Good question... I don't know of a specific name but it seems to be the Japanese take on the progressive/electro house explosion of the early 2010s. You really only see very similar stuff by other game composers (the trancey style kinda reminds me of Sota Fujimori) and indie guys on Touhou remix compilations lol
hard to say,, it has a trance/electro instrumental but with an almost heavy metal vibe with the synth lead there is no electronic music with such a heavy beat without being russian or something cybermetal like that. But the take is completely oriental, the use of monopoly here is heavy! A hardtrance music video game, as parents i would say `Yellow Magic Orchestra` (band), and thunderforce(game).
I try to found it since it is the ost from Neopolis Stage in cTGP7, now i'm glad i found it.
This track is the perfect embodiment of the interplay of high tension and calm concentration the game demands of you

Namiki was truly in his bag on this entire OST.

I know nothing about the game but this music is so good

I wish shoot 'em ups like this and Mushihimesama Futari were released on PC. The music alone is unbelievably good.
mushihimesama, deathsmiles and dodonpachi daifukkatsu are on steam - also MAME is always an option ;)
Futari now runs pretty much perfectly via the Xbox 360 emulator Xenia-canary!
