JoJo couldn't keep her eyes from welling up, even on the BTS of the song. That's the impact this gem of a song will have on a lot of people. Beautiful reaction again from 2 beautiful people.
Songs take you through the emotions that is portrayed by the two singers through their words, eyes and fantastic vocal touch. But these BTS have taken these songs to another level. Showing actually the experience of the crew and the emotion, the entire crew is going through. Truly magical ..!
Jojo “kitni karu mein liteja chand se” is actually the line
That depicts the thought process of one the crew member where he says it’s a beautiful sad story of chand and chakor.. so thoughtful and intelligent use of lyrics with storytelling.
Loved the way you both reacted at “Light is also music” as I also liked that profound thought.

One thing that you both have not commented on is the standard of the representation/translation of the lyrics in English for non desis.

Some people have pointed technical flaws in their singing. And I think, who cares if there were some technical flaws. The emotions they have put in the song is just unmatchable and that's why its a master piece. Just to add: Asfar is a very pure human being, one of the most beautiful soul I have come across.

Yes guys you are right. This is the beauty of Xulfi and Adnan Dhool's production that they always recruit the young blood and new creative artists also giving them complete liberty with their art. They have also done this before in Nescafe Basement as well.

i think you both need to start a podcast together. After watching your reactions I know I can listen you guys talk for hours. It could be a music podcast where you both are talking about either South Asian music so both Pakistani and Indian or it could be just international or global music discussion. If not music, it can be about anything. I just would love to listen you guys talk for hours and hours. Your reactions are very thought provoking and I love that about you guys.

Thank you sooo much for this reaction 🧡🧡 Mehram is such a therapy (although never went through any of such things) I just listen to it to fall asleep xD its just beyond this world.......... the other one was QB and Kavish faasle from season 10 that too is a therapist..... or may be exam season is just around that's why I'm feeling the song as going through extreme depression xD

I heard Arooj in an interview recently where she mentioned the passing of her brother, I think her life has affected her in a way that it trickles into her singing. I can definitely feel the sadness in her vocals, and she makes the kind of music I love.
