SSC's toum is way better than the ones in BoySha and Saffron (too oily). The thing is, medyo hidden menu tong toum nila and you'll have to request for it, hindi siya yung mga nasa squeeze bottles.

Best OG shawarma back in the day was the shawarma stall in Harrison Plaza. Small and super thin pita, sliced beef, some onion, and no sauce. Ridiculously good. Man, makes me tear up remembering.
The old Behrouz in the early to late 90’s near the old Club Dredd Timog Ave (NOT Edsa) had very good Beef and Lamb Kebabs.. Cow Brains too, Motabol, etc..
I grew up going to this spot with my family SSC used to be the spot right infornt of it and it was a small spot. Missing this place so much and seeing the video makes me want to go back for sure!

Chef, try the half grilled chicken, for the garlic sauce request for a toum. Extra pita bread and make your own shawarma - cut bits of the grilled chicken, add the fries and pickles, the spread some toum, roll/wrap everything in the pita bread. Yun, may authentic Lebanese shawarma ka na rin. This has been my favorite go-to place since college, it gives the closest vibe of Saudi where I grew up.
Try and feature Maryann's Seemin Persian Kebab along Tomas Morato. They serve Turkish Persian dishes. Me and the GF always enjoy their shawarma and biryani.

Hey Chef JP! Though I have been to this same main Manila branch & their other one is BF Homes, PQ, they actually have one closer here in Makati located on the 2nd Flr of Waltermart, cor. of Arnaiz & Chino Roces, Makati. It's at the Supermarket 2nd level, right beside Eng Bee Tin).
Hi Chef, there is another joint near that area. It is called Al Qaysar. They only serve chicken shawarma but is also outstanding in quality. I like the Al Qaysar one better because of their garlic sauce and they use very good bread. It is to me the closest to the one I always ate in Doha.
I will bring back to Ph the authentic Israel shwarma version, from pita and lafa bread saka yung fillings na veggies at side dishes. Gusto ko mag tayo ng resto pag balik ko dyan.
