I Purchased this System, it is worth every Penny of the money, it's beautiful but more importantly, the sound is incredible across the board even DAB. There is not one thing this system cannot do, Internet radio is a revelation listen to Linn Radio in glorious high quality, so I have a tidal account and Qobuz and use M Connect to stream as a media server Gapless and in 24/192. my only regret is I didn't purchase this earlier, I have had all systems in my Time but the detail this system unearths is amazing, no frequency is boosted its very natural across the board. I don't know how they have done it but the Vocals in particular are amazing expressive and the Instruments are very natural especially the Piano, its almost as if you can feel the finger pressing the keys, One question would Ruark own Sub muddy the sound? What benefits would it bring?
Hi, Thank you very much for your kind words and it is lovely to hear how pleased you are with your new R410. As you know the R410 is certainly not lacking in bass but the RS1 will give you a lift at the bottom end. We would always advise visiting your local stockist for a demonstration and you will be able to find you nearest Ruark dealer by using this link - www.ruarkaudio.com/stockists
Why o why did you go for a Class D amp? The rest of the entire range has class A/B. Couldn't a 60W class A/B have been fitted in this cabinet? Agree with the off-center display placement aesthetic decision. But wondering if the TFT display design could have been somehow retro-styled to gel with the rest of the unit! On the contrary, the piano black finish strip could have been extended all the way on the top of the set in continuation with the display so as to make it feel less like a phone sitting in front.
When are the excellent MR1 speakers getting a refresh? Hopefully with latest AptX lossless and Bluetooth 5.x Also any news on slightly larger bookshelf speakers from Ruark?
Just bought the R410 & sub woofer, like the look & super easy to set up and use, looks high quality. The sound is Good, would not say it is super. I initially thought it was UK built, however a little dissapointed that it is made in china. Ill give it a few weeks and see how it goes, other wise the Niam Muso 2 is half the price & I may just swap over. I wanted so much to like this, however to be fair, A bit of a let down..
Hi, Sorry to read that you are not 100% happy with your purchase. Our products are indeed made in China and have been since we began producing our small audio range back in 2006, we make no secret of this. The Muso is heavily discounted and has been for quite some time now... If you are looking for an all in one system then reviews and customer feedback would suggest you won't get better than our R410. Here is a head to head between the R410 and the Muso on the What Hi-Fi website. www.whathifi.com/advice/ruark-audio-r410-vs-naim-mu-so-2-which-all-in-one-music-system-is-better
@@ruarkaudio Hi Ruark To be fair the R410 and RS1 combined sound fairly nice in my dining room (large space 9m x 5m) and blend well with the minimalist architectural look we have, after my initial dumby spit over the country of manufacture, china, I have had a change of mind and would not swap for the Niam as per my earlier disappointment would suggest Love the look , the sound is fairly decent and the remote control is something else I just so much wanted something not Chinese
Really disappointed with mine, airplay bugs, loud hissing from the speakers, popping sounds when changing and pausing songs on Apple Music. However, it's beautifully built and the sound is great.
