Hi Kevin. I enjoyed your video. I was in the old house at the end of the road many times. I knew lady who lived there, I'm presuming she was your relative, I knew her as Maggie Gallagher, she was a good friend of my family, in particular my grandmother Annie Gallagher, not related. The house up by the lake was owned by Martin Keilty. I fished on that lake many times and went out with Martin in his boat on the bigger lake. They were precious people. I lived just down the road from Martins house towards Maggie's house.
Hi Roddy , sorry about its been so long this reply only just seen it. Maggie Gallagher was my aunt that's why I visited the house where my dad was born. Martin Keilty god rest him was my cousin and Paurick still lives on that main road and Joe in London. I believe Murt used to love fishing on the lake. I used to stay at my grandmother house up the boreen from Keiltys when I was young it was known as Durkin's house. I'm in the UK i'd love to meet up with you one day for some history of the area. I met a old guy in a van as i was viewing my fathers house he knew all the family he has died about 2 years ago. can't remember his name. Small world
