The problem is there is no upgrade at reasonable price. Used 3080-3080ti's is okayish price/performance but its not that big of upgrade, its risky and its a jump into 320-450w power consumption. From 40xx only 4080/4090 gives nice performance boost, and again price penalty is sadly too much. So praying "supers" have adequate price before new mining boom.
Fur sure, all depends what you're aiming for, but it will defo not be a locked 60 unless you're going for absolutely minimum settings, which often don't look as good. 8GB of Vram won't be enough for most new games at 4k
@@Native8KGamer i am trying to mentally switch from insisting on dlss quality to settling for dlss performance in most games and honestly i struggle to see any worsening blur while the fps gain truly elevates this card to that of an 80 class at dlss q
I noticed in most titles you had Raytracing on. RT does little more then squat for the look of the game and kills performance. I use a 3070 and find it gives me all the frames I need so far. I never use that BS RT.
@@Native8KGamer but have you seen the fsr frame gen mods recently? once it becomes an official release instead of just a mod i might as well start using it on my 3070 instead of dlss to finally get a chance at playable framerate pathtracing
toddfield remains a joke. at least warhammer darktide looks the part. lies of P my personal favorite 2023 release in terms of graphics, vram usage and fps. wish you had included avatar frontiers of pandora in your video.

I agree, I expect a wave of used regular 4070s and 4080s once supers hit the market which should hopefully drop their prices a little
A 4070ti could be a good upgrade and they're pretty low wattage but it's still like $750
I have been using 12100f 6700xt and got 4k60 most of the times with the appropriate settings.
This setup probably wont be different

RT was mostly on for benchmarking purposes, the 3070 is mostly a card for no RT and medium settings
if you dont use RT you could as well have bought a 12GB 6700XT instead of an 8GB 3070.
@@ImperialDiecast nah, DLSS is still super useful whether you use RT or not

@ImperialDiecast not tried it yet, might need to once its officially out
Seems like you get 60+ fps on 1440p with mix of max + ultra settings.
Seems reasonable for me.
Why would you need an upgrade?
That the question for the viewer to answer, if you're happy with this, more power to you

I will try and feature it in the next one :)
