Bishop Maponga can make you stop going to church today then go back to church again the following week 😂 I love this man! I’ve noticed I’m starting to speak like him in my everyday life.
Yours truly, your son from Texas USA

This man is a true African scholar. He came here in Uganda but unfortunately never got chance of meeting him physically. I believe you are getting African young generation emulating your lecture on Decolonization of Africans in all aspects against European slavery.

Maponga is always from another space intellectually ,we need to understand this man in relation to christ before we can complain about his actions.
I thank God he is coming back to us ,some of us from Kenya thought he had left us for Good.
Be blessed ,you need space in all our institutions.

He has lost many along the streets and it's them not him ... He's on another level of interpretation that's the mystery
He is a Real Christian ❤

I don't think it is just religion that makes the parents of African children unable to understand you, I think it is also that when you talk about religion it is easier for you to communicate with their children who are less knowledgeable than their parents and so your errors are accepted by their children while their parents will notice your errors. The way their parents can mix religion with their traditional spiritual knowledge and practices is really something to see, something truly African and something I wish I too could practice taking my religion to such depth because that is what being truly African is and something others outside Africa would struggle to do and reach such depth with my practice of spirituality. It is really a special thing., but often those who speak against religion point out the influences former colonial powers have added and then demand all our ancestors scriptures in the Bible or Quran should be forgotten which is disrespectful to our ancestors and the parents of those children will not accept that as they have experienced the power of those scriptures in the way their children who have yet to live a full life have not. Without the Bible and Quran and the places these books demand people must gather to immerse themselves as they do as a healthy society or village that works together to live in peace and love, the black people in America would have had no way of defeating their opponents in fighting for their civil rights led by Martin Luther King and Malcom X. We must not throw out our ancestors scriptures completely as some demand, we must interpret those scriptures as we as Africans see them forming our own churches or something of the equivalent that allows us to gather and participate in spiritual activity as our ancestors have done and throw out the clear influences of former colonial powers. This is something the parents of the children will understand. Great stuff. Peace and love
