Newcastle's first-ever visit to The SOL, and when they went 2-0 up so early on, I feared the worst/that they'd be on course for revenge for our 2-1 win at Sid James earlier in the season. But, when you had SKP in your side, guess there always had to be hope, and so it proved, as his brace rescued us a point. In fact, so dominant was our second-half comeback, we might have grabbed all three points/registered our first "double" v The Mags for many a season.
Love it! I remember listening to the game on the radio and it kept cutting out cos the rain at their ground was so bad!! Brilliant memories.
