Mr Kohli can resist his favorite Butter Chicken for 10 years, but cant resist a ball on 5th stump line for a single day. Mr Rohit - way too many flaws. I hope at least after BGT tour, these two dead weights bid farewell to Test cricket for the sake of ICT future. I'm also worried that Rohit might take down Bumrah with him - Its so painful to watch Bumrah struggling on field after being over bowled every single innings.
the retirement or dropping of these 2 players should be irrespective of the result of the sydney test no matter if they score double hundreds. dont see the 2 players carrying on in a single format (one day format) much beyond the champions trophy.
Yeah I agree, I really felt bad for Bumrah, poor guy was burdened to pick all 10 wickets in every match played so far , his bowling action is unique, if you look at his release point he generates a lot of speed at the release point which strains his shoulder and spine especially when he is expected to bowl continuous spells. As far as Kholi is concerned he just cannot help himself from nicking the ball going towards 4th, 5th, 6th stump, his new "nick name" is "nick" "king". He seriously needs to take coaching sessions from great Sachin on how to resist himself from playing offside against australia.
As expected, DK is unable to take a tough stance to Rohit and Kohli question. Retirement is their decision, but if despite his record Ashwin can be dropped or ‘not selected based on the pitch’, why are Rohit and Kohli immune to being dropped?
All Indian commentators are extended PR members, yes they are allowed to speak their mind, but their mind are only capable to speak in favor of stars, not for the team.
Yeah DK for a while is unable to make stronger statements against Indian players , he can , if he wants to, be critical without being rude but he prefers to walk around tough questions, it's frustrating since he knows most of these players personally
I think only Gavaskar and Manjerekar have the spine to speak harsh reality about Indian cricket. Everyone else wants to be in good books of management and RoKo
The same people were branding him as a selfless captain, captain of the year a few months ago. So try to be a bit supportive of players in their lean patch. They are trying to do their best and are far more experienced. It is easy to type a comment and say things as outsiders rather than being supportive.
I remember dk blaming Sarfaraz khan after india lost to nz in 3rd test after he had score 150 runs and not a word against roko similar to what he is doing now. He just wants to be in good books and somewhere he lost my respect. Why cant you speak truth and criticise when required. We are ict fans we deserve REAL and truth. Not watching him any more for reviews
Mindblowing that Boland is picked only when Hazelwood gets injured! What a ruthless bowler! He reminds me of Stuart Clark who was also relentless in his line and length!
In cricket we often hear the phrase *"Form is temporary class is permanent."* It sounds wise but can sometimes stop us from thinking clearly. This is especially true for players like Rohit Sharma & Virat Kohli. Even though their recent performances have been uneven their past success keeps them in the team. Experts often remind us of their ability to play match-winning innings when they are in form. But the real question is *Are they still the match-winners they used to be or are we holding on to old memories?* The phrase works in some cases but it’s not always true. Poor performances are seen as a bad patch while one good innings is taken as proof of their greatness. Maybe it’s time to move past emotions & ask the hard question *Can Rohit & Virat still finish games for India or is it time to plan for the future?*
if Rohit plays the last test, it will prove that we are thinking of players above the interest of the nation. any replacement of Rohit whether Gill or Abhimanyu Easwaran would do no worse than Rohit.
unfortunately , in ICT they don't operate on cricketing logic but on past legacy. Gambhir was very boisterous about how team performance matters more than individual , its time he stuck to his word and gives Kohli and Rohit a tap on the shoulder.
@@Mr_Mohit_Shukladk is literally a peer and friend of rohit and kohli he will never say what needs to be said because of his closeness with them. harsha is treading waters carefully because of past experience of getting in the wrong end of statements
I thought Cricbuzz was for cricket analysis but its becoming more and more about indian cricket only. Not complaining or criticizing about anything just realising the fact.
They never analyse opponent breakdown where aus got the lead where was india wrong becoz even a child knows india lost the match during yesterday's 3rd session where for no reason field was open for tailenders but they only yap about Indian team yet no talk about bumrah's fatigue @@ritwikism
While we are eager to blame Pant for his shot, Cummins tactics must be acknowledged. Giving the ball to Head made it irresistible for anyone, let alone Pant not to strike the ball. And the perfect field placement.
Nah..Pattt is a world class captain but pant dismissals on both the innings is all on him alone...like what would attempting to hit a 6 do positive in a situation where you are just trying to draw the match.. literally threw away and easy draw
Bro you and me on the same page of observation, and I will give pat Cummins full marks as he stood up as leader taking 6 wickets (two match innings +90 crucial runs ) ,same time whole world against pant but just think if that shot across boundry not a single person in opposition
New players had more match awareness and better mindset, even the last time when they were here. No responsibility from senior batters and don't seem to learn from failures which tells the attitude. The sulking captain needs to giddy up. Spot on from Karthik on Pat.
Snico is an acoustic method of detecting a contact. The background noise level with noisy ~70,000 spectators plays a role. Please Note- A " background noise" to "signal" ratio is to be considered. Two noises " measured in decibels "are added logarithmically". It's a bit technical . The distance between microphones and contact - producing the "noise spike" follows "inverse square law" for strength of the sound pressure SPL. These are the limitations. But it helps the decision making, though not 100% accurate.
Effectively both Rohit and Virat have failed in 2024 in tests both average under 25, Rohit has 2 centuries and 2 fifties Kohli has 1 century and one 50. The difference is Rohit has a good series and terribly failed in the last 3 series. The reason everyone calling for Rohit's head ( including the panelists, Ravi Shastri during the lunch break on air) could be lack of past laurels, lack of PR, lack of fan following?
Rohit sharma & Virat kohli enjoying their personal life not cricket.......u can see that after getting married, they have become careless cricketer ( Now BCCI should make a rule that only an unmarried cricketer can play for team India )
DK and Harsha talking to each other. What a spectator! What a beautiful stadium! What a great test match! What I like about the Melbourne city and the street is.. Oh we have to nominate player of the match to thousands of spectators.. Not a word against crumbling Indian top order batting or appreciation for mighty dominating Aussies.. Great biased spinless commentary by you both
Love how we want to criticise Pant for "lack of stubbornness" on an easy pitch but want to ignore the problem with our seniors failing again and again on the same pitches and conditions.
Bro did you watch what bewda Shastri said during the lunch break show?Mark Nichols indirectly asked if virat time is up in test,to which Shastri replied"no way,he can easily play for 3-4 years more"😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂..i feel so bad for bumrah ,bro is probably on his way to one year injury rehab after carrying this team
Let's not make the same mistake with Yashasvi that we've kept making repeatedly with batsmen in the past. Let's not make him a Superstar/King before he even becomes a fully grown and reliable cricketer for India.
If I may comment as an outsider to India, I believe India has a real issue with making idols of cricket players. It's not good for the player and it takes focus from the importance of teamwork and cohesion.
Indian team has to prioritise team winning the match now....can't give too many chances to these experienced guys. I feel it's crossed the limit already. See the guys who are playing in Australia for the first time and doing well. What will they feel???? Can they accept that they are doing well but due to so and so, team is losing....what inspiration does it give to them..??? Fans should understand that cricket is a TEAM GAME, TEAM WINS IF THE 11 PLAYERS DO WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DO WELL. Please give chance to youngsters at least in the last match. I don't feel either Rohit or Kohli is going to make any valuable runs. Please be fare with everyone. Ashwin need not have retired.
Cricbuzz are you even listening to your viewers? We are continuously pointing out that the presenters are unable to take a tough (but right) stance against the popular culprits.. Why are they just praising Bumrah but aren’t calling out the popular players for their crime in this series?
With Rohit and Virat it is clear we might get flashes of brilliance once in a while. However, to expect them to deliver consistently is a far fetched dream at this stage. Time is running out for them with back to back losses both home and away. Also, they are putting tremendous pressure on the struggling batting line up. That has reflected in their playing 11 as well. We went for an extra all rounder instead of a bowler.
There are so many flaws with this ICT and instead of focusing on those flaws they keep changing the few things that have been going decent for them, like changing KL Rahuls batting pos to accommodate your flop star Captain Rohit.
We need a strong pillar in the middle who can hold things together! This Indian batting lineup is full of names not the performers! Team India needs to take strong calls now.
I am watching cricket Since 1996 and India always Missing one thing. Why India not surround 8 fielder for number 9-10-11th batsman as Australia do. What's to afraid, I can't understand.
Rishabh pant dismissed in a similar way in wc 2019 to satner, similar shot similar ball, also at that point partnership between him and hardik was looking good
Bumrah with his head down surrounded by Aussies poking fun at him as he took guard - roko pl reflect - this king said after making a century that he doesnt want to be a liability on team and keep playing when he is not contributing - well time to act then..
Harsha be like : when India wins player of the match is kohli, bumrah, jaiswal When Australia wins player of the match is crowd, weather , the bird that flew in the 52nd over, kookabura ball
Pat Cummins brought a very damaged Aussie cricket team back to the top as a fantastic fast bowling captain. I think Bumrah can do the same for India. When you realize under Rohit's captaincy India lost last 5 test matches (and drew one at Gabba thanks to weather) While the only win came under Bumrah's captaincy!
'Form is temporary , class is permanent' A common saying in cricket. But form is what matters in crucial matches. So it doesn't matter if you have truckloads of 'class'😢
DK and Harsha both are so diplomatic and running around the bush , they should make Rohit, KL , Kohli & Pant responsible for this debacle their IPL salaries are now waiting for them they had a golden chance to try and win the game after Bumrah & Reddy's heroics or played hard and gone for a draw but they decided to throw their wickets away and gave nice Christmas gift to Indian fans 😢😢😢 70% people in stadium were Indians I am feeling very sorry for their pain and now at work our Aussie colleagues will make our fun for few months
and fans will forget very soon all this, our batting starts can't play spin or pace, it's not the pitches, they are doing worse . Just think about how many chances players like Chahal got
To be fair KL did a lot, feel he is the scapegoat for the fk up by the others. pant has no place as a test no5, he should be 6 at most. He is exciting asf but in a situation like today, a no5 need to have the temperant to be able to attack and defend.
Rohit and Virat everyone’s knws ..poor form is the factor .wat did Rishabh do .such irresponsible stupid player .after playing well for 30 he shld have stayed with Jaiswal and maybe we wld have drawn the match .2 innings he does that .if he had got a good ball cld understand .bt this is recklessness which cost the match.
This is an absolute joke. Both Rohit and Virat deserved to be dropped. Players have been dropped for far less and yet, Harsha and DK spend 30 mins sugar-coating their failures. Ashwin had the grace to walk away when he didn't see a future. Is the yardstick different here? They want you to believe that the same batting core and Rohit captaincy will win the 5th test. Every evidence points against that. DK - Wonder if your contract with RCB has a clause that says you can't be critical of RCB players in the media. Harsha - beg to differ. BGT is not more important than WTC.
The dismissal are named stupid, but the real problem is these players are guaranteed a place no matter how they played . If there is a knife hanging then they would resist the 5th stump poking by Kohli , outrageous pulls by Panth, no real hook attempt by jaiswal
The difference between the two teams - at 91/6 Australia fought out of the situation, India couldn't. Australian out of form batters fought it out in the middle our superstar batters were too precious.
Did anyone notice how AUS bowlers were bowling much fuller making IND batters drive? IND bowlers were mostly bowling short. I wish we could see an analysis or expert talk on these things.
Since 2020, we have been carrying Kohli, and he is still due to deliver a proper Test innings. He may be a legend of the game, but you can't put him above the team.
Sir, the problem is Australia always believes in Team Games not in Individualism. On the other side, Indian cricket has leaned on Individualism after the Sourav Ganguly era. Especially after the introduction of IPL, Individualism is at its highest peak. Fans are divided by Individualism. Cricketers become money-minded. Stardom and individualism bring discrimination within the team. India has at least a 3-4 stardom quota (irrespective of their performance). Selectors have nothing to do with it, because they often face criticism & protest for not selecting some star player. It has become a culture now. If reform is going to take place after this series, it should be in culture not in players. Like 🦘.🙏🙏🙏🙏
Shame on Rohit Sharma and Viraj Kohli! Rohit or anyone else who wants to talk about the shot played by Pant should look at their own shots! You two cannot even play straight and leave the balls of 6-7th stump and question Pant’s shot! It’s height of hypocrisy. Rohit should not lead the team in next match and should be given a deadline to perform otherwise shown the door! Kohli just because he made a century doesn’t mean he can keep getting out like a schoolboy. These two have let down the team more than anyone else
Whether Virat ⛑ and Rohit are playing for India or to get the sponsorship and viewership ?? It's really hurting the Indian team for the last 2 years. Both were given 100 opportunities to get 1 hundred, Will any other player would get the same ?? Any average batsman would have played better if the same opportunities were given.
Accept and face the fact that australia is more dominant and sportive then india..Aus is playing with heart out and willing to lay life for the series...and is going to win in time to come
The BCCI should consider forming a Test squad or player pool consisting of individuals who are not part of IPL or T20 teams. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a full squad but could include a select group of players. Frequent participation in T20 matches often brings temperament challenges; after all, these players are human, not robots who can instantly shift from an aggressive T20 mindset to the patience required for Test cricket. The frequency of batting collapses could reflect this issue. With India’s immense talent pool, the country could easily sustain two or even three teams. Perhaps the BCCI has already considered this idea. Moreover, these Test-focused players should be fairly compensated for missing out on IPL opportunities!
DK's analysis is just perfect. And the good sense to talk about Pat Cummins, beautiful. And Harsha, great as ever. Nice discussion. If we are cold hearted we should drop Rohit, but we'd be doing a disservice to the man. India needs to give him one more test as a matter of respect. Then we'd have to make tough decisions. But Jasprit Bumrah is the real hero of this team!
India played really well and fought hard.... Sometimes u have to appreciate the opponent as they played well... Still the series is on... India may retain the BGT...
I have not gone to anywhere during the holiday period and stayed back to home to watch the test cricket. Being cricket fan, I have enjoyed lot on all these five days and never seen such game for long time. Thanks to test cricket, indain & aus team . I was very happy when we won 20/21 BGT. I am not sad now but very much disappointed they we lost our wickets.
My test team next match Sydney (who agree like it, Rohit should take retirement and Kohli take rest) Y jaiswal Kl Rahul S gill D jurel (wk) S khan/r pant N k reddy W Sunder J bhumrah(c) Akashdeep P Krishna M siraj
This is a perfect list. I was doubtful of Siraj, but he's been doing well but he's had too much pressure. Really need the 4th pacer to enable best from everyone
Pat Cummins is a superlative leader. He always comes up with answers, never let's his team down. Perhaps the most impressive cricketer in the world. Truly a superstar ❤🎉
This is a national team and career legacy cannot be a criteria to shoulder the burden of virat kohli and rohit sharma if they failed in multiple past occasions. Right time to take a call
One thing that we forget is that these players are now franchise specialist and get unsettled if they have to play a grinding game. If players earn millions from franchise cricket, test cricket doesn't matter much.
Someone in the Indian think tank needs to teach Sundar on how to bat with tailenders. Be it while scoring or trying for a draw. This is probably the third or fourth instance now when he has let down in that aspect. This series showed why KL Rahul will always be a mediocre batsman. People said he is in red hot form and all he has to showcase is a couple of 70+ scores. Smith and Head were almost out of form before the series started and both of them hit a couple of 100+. If the mandate was for a draw, those shots by Jaiswal and Pant weren't warranted. And yeah, Rohit and Jadeja need to hang up their boots. And please please please drop Siraj. He is likely not going to pick wickets of the top order in the 1st innings in Sydney. Now the belle of the ball. Kohli isn't going to retire willingly from the Test team as it's not in his nature to give up. So he needs to be dropped and for that Indian Test Fans need to run online campaigns/ discussions/ trends. His influence comes from his power which comes from his brand. Exactly why he doesn't even play ugly shots coz 'To look good' is more important than grinding it out. Come 2025, it will be 6 years that Kohli has been a blight on the Indian Test Team. A freaking blight!
@@chocosquirrel3319 Yes, amazing cover drives. His cover drives in the net practice sessions over the course of 4 tests have resulted in approx 184 runs. Surprisingly that's Australia's winning margin today. I tell you the coincidences the almighty create!
I would keep Jadeja for one more WTC cycle. He is a good batter and after Ashwin a very successful spinner in India. On top a gun fielder. I feel sundar and jaddu both have place in my 15 in the next cycle. Kohli and Rohit should gracefully resign now. Given you don’t have any other matches in this cycle and after the next match our next test is in June against England that too in UK. There is no way I would like to see them in another tour.
@naman-j1m Jadeja's bowling has been subpar for last 2-3 years now. Even in India. He gets in because of his batting as top order don't do their job. Not right for bowling in SENA. And his fielding is now at par with others. His last miracle came in 2021 when he ran out Smith in Sydney. If memory serves me right, since then across formats, whenever the batsmen have been outside, he hasn't been able to hit stumps and when he has hit stumps, batsmen have already reached. Apologies for nit picking but his fielding shouldn't be a factor as of today. I don't know how Axar will fare in terms of bowling and batting in SENA but I feel we are losing out on his golden batting years.
21:24 I thought aggression is about charging down the pitch like it's a powerplay, or giving a sendoff to a batter after he scored run-a-ball 140, or shoulder barging opposition batters and jumping and shouting from slips.. I haven't seen Cummins do that, how can he be aggressive?
So true. Players need an aggressive mindset and teams have to be aggressive with their tactics like bowling changes, field placements, etc. But this sadakchap behavior that gets celebrated under the guise of passion and aggression is just not it.
Nope- he’s an average test batsman and a flat-track bully. Should have been dropped long ago. When the likes of Shreyas Iyer, Pujara and Rahane can be dropped, then why not this absolute clown?
What a light analysis by the Harsha and DK. Couldn’t have been a softer analysis of the defeat and performances of RS and VK. It seems they just don’t want to say anything harsh, even by mistake, about the two.
The fact that india fought hard despite two of their premier batsmen didnt perform at all and one premier fast bowler missing out due to injury, proves how good they are if they play to their full potential. Honestly i was expecting this series to be a whitewash after the plight in nz series. Yea what goes will come back. Let the waiting youngsters come in. Hope india will bounce back.
This an excellent show. Both experts are objective, rational and on point with their analysis. Going to be a regular viewer from here onwards . Cheers to Mr Karthik and Mr Bhogle
27:30 - BS. It is not a tough question. Rahul has clearly earned his opening spot. Rohit bullied his way in and failed, and unsettled KL too. KL should open and Rohit should bat at 5 if at all he makes the XI
Something about this Rohit - Gambhir era reminds me as about the Dravid - Chappel era.Chappel wanted to boss early on by sacking Ganguly, asking Sachin to bat in the middle order, Pushing Irfan to become an all rounder.Gambhir too sacked Pandya from vice captaincy, forced seniors to play Odi series against Sri lanka and pushed for ranked turners in NZ series maybe it was him only who asked Rohit to bat at 6, Sundar to play ahead of Ashwin, Jadeja
I love watching Dinesh Karthik & Harsha Bhogle. They have such an insight into the game and are absolutely objective in their commentary. You feel in this segment there is some real soul searching, this is a game India should have comfortably drawn.
Any way India's hopes of retaining bgt & WTC finale are lost . So let it be a new era for Indian test cricket----- Jaiswal, Rahul , Sai sudarshan, Jurel , Nitish Kumar, Pant , Jadeja , Sundar , Arshdeep, Bumrah , Shami. 4---Gill , Mukesh , Gaikwad , Harshit . This should be the squad for the next season.
I am getting irritated with Dk’s overtly cautious responses. Pant’s shot in the 2nd innings was really bad and there is no sugar coating it. It is understandable that he wants to be neutral but as an analyst, he needs to grow some confidence and say things as they are. Perhaps this is the problem of having someone who has just retired from international cricket and is still playing IPl and is close to the current crop of players. Also, answer question on the next 11 for Sidney - no point in giving a politician’s response - give your opinion that is what your role as an analyst is. Do better Mr DK, FairPlay award doesn’t mean much!😊
With this kind of team which banks on one bouler and couple of batsmen, we dont deserce to play WTC final.❤ Feeling sorry for Bumrah, Jaiswal and Nitish.😢
Our batting unit has been collapsing against pace and spin either at home or abroad. Here, our other bowlers couldn't provide Jaspreet Bumrah the support that he needed.
Sydney is a draw with 2 days RAINING....Weather has always been a big factor there...Also home ground of Steve Smith where he has an amazing record....Impossible for India with tired bowlers (Bumrah bowled close to 55 overs) to take 20 wickets in 3 days....
Thank you Dinesh and Harsha. Not making a fuss out of those 2 dismissals. They were both out. The bigger picture which is getting in the background is Virat and Rohit's form.
India’s defeat against Australia in today’s Test match is a stark reminder of the challenges the team is currently facing, especially in the longest format of the game. Without Jasprit Bumrah, it’s hard to imagine how India can compete at the highest level consistently. The situation feels reminiscent of the 80s and 90s when winning overseas was a monumental task. Back then, we had a stronger batting lineup but lacked the firepower in the pace attack to dismantle teams like Australia and England twice in a match. Now, even with arguably the world’s best fast bowler in the squad, we are struggling to avoid follow-ons, let alone compete for a win. This defeat reflects a worrying trend in India’s Test performances, as the team appears to be regressing instead of improving. The inability to perform in overseas conditions and the apparent lack of resilience in critical moments are concerning signs. If this continues, it may signal a significant decline in India’s stature in Test cricket.
You can't praise Yashashvi Jaiswal for his batting forgetting 3 dropped catches in a single day which also gave Aus more time, runs, advantage over Ind in this match. Might be harsh, but that's the truth.
even harsha bhogle & dinesh karthik seems so happy that india has lost. instead of commenting on indias loss they are talking about mcg crowd. I really think now adays no patriotism left. we should be ashamed to loss an important match and players like pant should never be selected for test because he is taking it too easy and seeing him they way he got out it looks like he is taking this match so casually and we as fans so much involved and players like kohli, rohit & pant soo casual. we should mourn this loss.
The only outside chance that India has to make it to WTC is to definitely win the Sydney test which you cannot do that with this team. Changes I propose. 😓 Kl Rahul Jaiswal Call Pujara (make him travel) if not then Gill Kohli (One last chance) Pant Jadeja NKR Sundar Bumrah Siraj Shami (make him travel) if not then Akashdeep
Going into lunch, we were 3 down. Between lunch and tea we recovered. And then after tea, we lost all our wickets after Pant's dismissal which opened the floodgates. I feel the root problem here definitely is the 3 down before lunch. Especially because this isn't the first time it is happening. I have deep respect for the senior players. They have given us so much in the past. But now, with more than 10 matches not going their way which translates to around 20 innings failures, I think perhaps it's time some changes were brought in up there. I think there have been changes in the lower middle oder in these 10 matches but the top 4 remain the same more or less. Time to experiment up there also
1. Dropping Gill was a mistake 2. rohit captaincy and GG coaching both disappoints throughout. 3. Rohit and Virat form is a burden for the entire team. 4. You are opening with KL stick to that, you change batting position again and again it will obviously effect his performance (Bad captaincy). 5. Start looking beyond Siraj, there are many players waiting for a chance to prove themselves. 6. Stop hiding with the excuse "Natural game", a good player adopts and plays the condition, Rishab playing attacking in any situation regardless, keep him away from the game and play only where attacking cricket is required.
AUS must have felt hard done in 3rd test, in Brisbane where weather let them down, but their brave play on day 1 (by the 19-year old), made the difference... They go to Sydney to wrap this up...
You always retire when you are at the peak of your career so that you can stay in people's good memories and also it gives you a self satisfaction that your legacy has ended on a high. Some legendary cricketers still don't realize this, I don't know whom they expect to tell them. As far as day 5 is concerned India should have played for a win instead of a draw, we became vulnerable when we decided to play for a draw. Our country should always counterattack a team like Aus, never allow them to settle down, this was a flat pitch we should have gone ballastic and caused panic in the opposition.Even if we did lose with that mindset, and gameplan we would have gained respect , at least we fell down battling for victory.
Funny how some of these clowns like Rajiv Shukla, Rajdeep making a fuss about Jaiswal dismissal just to stay relevant. He knicked it & the ball clearly deflected at a right angle. A clear deflection has higher validation in decision hierarchy & the umpire went by it. If that’s not the case then some players will review after edging to slips when snicko doesn’t exist.
I'm not sure what shot you expect Pant to play against a rank long hop. He can't stand there and defend it, its just as likely he pops it up in the air because its short. You could argue he could follow the Bradman method of hitting it along the ground, but a pull shot carries risk regardless.

@@NEHARANJI am sure whole staff and team has far better understanding of what to do and what not to do. Just sit back and relax, be supportive.
Manjrekar only talks out of bitterness. His intention is never to help the Indian team
Karthik and Bhogle - Spill the beans and say those two players Rohit and Kohli need to be dropped !!

While we are eager to blame Pant for his shot, Cummins tactics must be acknowledged.
Giving the ball to Head made it irresistible for anyone, let alone Pant not to strike the ball. And the perfect field placement.
Go watch pogo
Nah..Pattt is a world class captain but pant dismissals on both the innings is all on him alone...like what would attempting to hit a 6 do positive in a situation where you are just trying to draw the match.. literally threw away and easy draw
Head was brought in to up the over rate as Aussie seamers were continually operating at the beginning of the innings
Props to DK for talking about Pat Cummins and Scott Boland and giving them the credit they deserve.
Yeah strange that harsha didn't want to talk about them.
Rohit played selfless in the ODI WC. He is just old now and doesn't have the hunger. While Kohli is in it just to make money and personal milestones.

Let's not make the same mistake with Yashasvi that we've kept making repeatedly with batsmen in the past. Let's not make him a Superstar/King before he even becomes a fully grown and reliable cricketer for India.
Oyee jaiswal is goat
If I may comment as an outsider to India, I believe India has a real issue with making idols of cricket players. It's not good for the player and it takes focus from the importance of teamwork and cohesion.
Australia is doing the same mistake with new boy. One fairly lucky first innings and already anointed and kid is already running his mouth with Virat.
True people literally declared gill the next superstar of India who hasn't crossed even 40 in overseas after gabba innings..
@@jay4ceebecause they don't have any young upcoming batter and konstas is their best hope but that's not the case with india
Rohit sharma " You cannot expect performance from one or two players" The whole team is performing except you and a modern great
Cricbuzz are you even listening to your viewers?
The 9, 10,11 have become better batter than that era. So having surrounding fielders where pitch isn't doing much can play against you...
Our 9, 10, and 11 are no match to their Australian counterparts. Barring Bumrah, they can't even bowl close to their counterparts.
For record jadeja was surrounded by fielders when he came in after pant. That’s called aggression. Vada paav is very defensive
Harsha and DK are reluctant to discuss the elephant in the room!

'Form is temporary , class is permanent'
A common saying in cricket.
But form is what matters in crucial matches.
So it doesn't matter if you have truckloads of 'class'😢
That suits to only people like Steve Smith who perform in must win or crucial matche s
These two are just clowns who can't call spade a spade
and fans will forget very soon all this, our batting starts can't play spin or pace, it's not the pitches, they are doing worse . Just think about how many chances players like Chahal got
Obviously BCCI can in one day strip anyone of their earning potential

Agreed, he has not been the same player post covid. Even in shorter formats his innings have lost that impact. Both him and Rohit needs to go.
Like 🦘.🙏🙏🙏🙏
It was the same even before Ganguly
We dearly missed Pujara this series. They need to find the next Wall or Pujara.
Happy Retirement
Not sure how come shubhman dropped , test match cant be played with 3 allrounders
Your so-called batsman can't even put the bat on the ball. Hence the need for allrounders. Gill can come in once these two old horses go out.
Washington is way better a player than that flat track bully called gill
Lovely to hear these fellas admit that Jaiswal was 100% out
DK's analysis is just perfect.

With the current team like this where we are short of 2 batsman in every single game (Roko), we dared to drop someone like PUJARA
Of course there should be a campaign to remove kohli..and give a chance to younger talents
Do not question kolhi. Remove Rohit jadeja gambhir. Kolhi is fine. Did u see his cover drives in the net

Honestly, pat Cummins is just amazing...great leader...led from the front..field setting was superb.
Aggression is in the game, not hooliganism.
So true. Players need an aggressive mindset and teams have to be aggressive with their tactics like bowling changes, field placements, etc. But this sadakchap behavior that gets celebrated under the guise of passion and aggression is just not it.

The fact that india fought hard despite two of their premier batsmen didnt perform at all and one premier fast bowler missing out due to injury, proves how good they are if they play to their full potential.

Do better Mr DK, FairPlay award doesn’t mean much!😊
Excellent analysis! I wish this was a ten match series, will be sad to see this tour end.
These two are the paid PR of Ro-Ko😅
Batting and fielding are separate disciplines. You can praise him for one a criticize him for another. But one has no direct connection to the other.
even harsha bhogle & dinesh karthik seems so happy that india has lost. instead of commenting on indias loss they are talking about mcg crowd.

Time to experiment up there also
Can you drop the captain in Sydney?

2. rohit captaincy and GG coaching both disappoints throughout.
Very honest and good conversation❤
