My biggest flex is that I beat that part near the end of the level with the platforming and cactus things first try and I had literally no issue with it
The first level is when I realised this artist is something special. THIS track was when I realised that Camellia is a fucking evil genius- the bassline groove at 1:35 is absolutely unbelievable and relishes the kind of breaks in Electronica that are remembered for generations. I would be slamming this track in every DJ set!
I think my proudest achievement in this game (not including the actual achievements of the game-) is going from getting my first Game Over on this level to being able to almost consistently full-combo this level on Hard Mode. This song is an absolute BANGER, btw. Like- in my top five at the VERY least.
I mean, it IS the first level where the whole hallucinations thing starts being addressed as such and thus even the level itself is very chaotic looking
i love how they use music to tell the story in this game. the trance portion of this song and the piano cascading downwards implying mad rat is falling into an actual trance because of (spoilers in replies) is so baller.
Nah, I am so off beat that of the two minutes I spent playing it, I only managed to get like... maybe 15 greats. Everything else was either Early or Late.
Found the sound track for this game, i was holding back to listen to the any of the songs but I couldn’t help myself and chose a random song but my point is what kind of game is this? Like is it a platformer, a shooter, a rhyme game? And is it family friendly or is it something to not let younger audiences see?
It's a hybrid platformer and rhythm game, you press inputs in-sync with the BPM. It's a T rating I believe, there's mild swearing, the heavy topic of death, and some mild gore? You see the main character get vivisected among an off screen death. It's a great game although it can be difficult and it's bit pricey, whether or not you choose is all on you! At the very least I highly suggest to listen to the soundtrack, it's probably overall the best game OST I've listened to!
does anyone else find this track to be sensual music at all? for some reason I do and I am addicted to this track, especially the first minute. That's the best part. sorry if this is a weird comment, not intentional. I love Mad Rat Dead.
i wonder if this is Haster's eldritch party jam. After all the King in Yellow will give a Yellow Invitation. For those of you who are wondering who Haster is. He's one of Cthulhu's brothers.

You gotta add to that flex by beating hard mode
Yeah, that's a legit flex.
@@DragonMCMultiverse I am now adding more to the flex by beating it on hard mode
Big flex indeed. Hate that part
On my first playthrough, this is the only stage I failed. For this very reason.

i think it might be the beat from clash by caravan palace, or very similar. it's no secret that camellia is a fan of electroswing
I had to turn on another 138 BPM song to beat this stage because this was so frustrating.
Guess what I chose.
Fallen Kingdom.
I think it's easier on hard mode for that reason lol
I’m surprised no one pointed out that in the intro there’s a beeping that sounds similar to a heart monitor
Might as well drive the player insane too to hammer home the point
Everything between 1:12 and the song looping sounds wild. Especially that distorted synth. I can't even describe this easthetic but I stan it.
The closest thing I know that could describe it is dissonance.
Maybe like a descent into madness?
@@dapperdude1550 that about sums it up between the music and also just the level in general with the hallucinations thing

This game has it all in the sound department

Who else feels like this song lowkey sounds like the Rat God is "singing" it?
Or that this song suits her?
Yea, I didn't think about it before but I can hear it. The song feels frantic and cheery yet underneath there is something sinister about it.
Yes my sir/ma’am it does, now that you’ve mentioned it.

✨toxoplasmosis trance✨
It hits different after playing actual level
WAS THIS LEVEL RIDICULOUSLY HARD OR DO I JUST SUCK

I was stuck on this level for hourssss
@@k.f.kobold7910 You were close to getting the "Oh, GREAT!" achievement, if that's any consolation...
Its easy once you figure out the rhythm of the platforms tbh
Trying to get S+ rank on this level hits me with a different type of physical pain
Am i the only one that hears a sort of scat-singing in the background around 0:35?
ここのステージガチめに詰むかと思ったぐらい難しかったww

3拍のうち1拍だけ消えてる感じなのかな?赤点滅の時もギリ大丈夫なんだけどそれが難しい

The tempo shifts and hallucinatory platforms can go straight to hell.
I love this game. I'm terrible at it.

You can kinda hear someone laughing at 0:35
I can't hear it
fuck this level but i love this song

For those of you who are wondering who Haster is. He's one of Cthulhu's brothers.
Hastur, my friend. And no, he is not the brother of Cthulhu. He may be Lovecraftian, but his creation was not of H.P. Lovecraft's own origins
