And the reason behind my comments is... your way of understanding and replying to all the people who commented on your videos. .. this is a great thing... and i observed your level of maturity in thinking... :)
I love the music you chose for this piece. It goes without saying that your painting is gorgeous as always, but I thought I’d say it anyway. I love your work Maria, you have so much talent and the beauty of your paintings always brightens my day. Thank you.
Fantastic, what a beautiful scene and your sky is just stunning. Giving the perfect perception of depth and distance to make you drawn into the picture. Well done lovely. Kim xxx
I am fascinated watching you paint. It is a simple and beautiful composition. Peaceful scene. Thank you for sharing your talent with the world. God bless you.
When I see your paintings, they look like real and takes me away in a magical world where there is just colours and nothing else. Thanks a lot. 😊😊😊😊🙆👍❤
This is the credit of you and you paintings... no one agrees if we say this is a painting... your paintings are such a type of realistic photo graphs... :)
I m awed ...yet again !!!... lovely scene ...and ur rendition brings out its feel just perfectly ... culdnt get ni better.... 👍👍👍 the time u upload ur videos, its almost days end and so your work brings sooo much peace and calmness to me i cant define ... its a perfect end to my tiring day Love watching U paint 👍 Thankiu for sharing
I have about 50 Holbein watercolors (tubes) they didn't come in a set as I also have colors like GOLD or neutral tint ;) but if you go to my website www.mariamorjane.com/my-art-supplies you will see the sets I recommend, you can just click on links etc Thanks Katherine :)
Thank you so much :) yea.. I had to come up with something to protect my videos after all that drama in Jan-Feb haha now I'm wearing a bracelet with my name on it and two logos in my videos. Should be enough.. at least for now :)
Yeah, as an artist myself I can imagine the sadness of seeing my work stolen. Yours is so great it would be a great shame to see it stolen from you. Keep it up :)
wish I could be as good as u...😁 but m still a beginner hopefully one day will surely be like u....thank you a lot for inspiring me @Maria Raczynska 💙💜
good morning Maria! another nice painting, really good colour scheme, great tree drawing. where did you get picture of sunset I see daily? good work young lady. take care
Thank you so much again for appreciating my art :) I really enjoy painting sunsets and I wanted to paint something like this for a very long time.. something that would remind me of a scene in a country.. maybe next time I will add a horse :) Have a nice weekend!
Really love your art! You are my favorite watercolor artist in UA-cam. Just bought hot pressed paper and will paint by following your video. Just one question: do you stretch your paper before painting? Thanks as always!
Hi Jenny :) you are so sweet.. thank you so much :)) Have fun painting and love that you got hot pressed! yay! No, I don't stretch my paper, just use it as is :)
super Maria. A beautiful painting of evening.👏👏👌👌💞 Could u please tell me the necessary of using art mask fluid? It is not available in my place. Can I use anything else?
Hi Alosia, ☺️thank you!!🌹You really don't need art masking fluid to paint, it's just something extra you can have but you can paint freely without it, just make sure not to get over an object with paint (that you want to stay clean/white) and you will be fine without the art masking fluid :)
Hi Peter :) Thank you so much. In this painting I was using Arches Hot Pressed Block, so my paper stayed in a block. For the most part I rip the page out and lay it flat on my glass, it's just a kitchen cutting board... then when I paint using water and watercolors, that keeps the paper flat, in place. I don't stretch my paper etc
Couple of questions, do you prefer using water color paper in sheets or in pad form? And I is the back of this paper dry or wet? I'm a slow learner, and you really inspire me!
Hi Nora, my usual and favorite way is just to place a single piece of watercolor paper on a glass, so I rip one page out of a pad or just use a paper that has previously been cut out of a big sheet. I don't wet/stretch my paper before doing so. Sometimes when I am going to paint wet on wet then I will pre-wet the paper, when it's already laying on my glass. The paper naturally just sticks to a glass from water and paint. I am definitely making a video on that very soon :) Recently I got a lot of Arches Blocks and that's how I've been painting. Leaving my paper in a block.Thank you Nora.
Hi Roshni :) Thank you! All the colors are mentioned in a video (subtitles) when you watch it, are you able to see the annotations? maybe it's hard to see when watching on a mobile device, not sure... they are also mentioned under the video (in the description section). thanks!
I need to get better at the layering, but you have helped me with that by watching your videos. I do use watercolors from the tube, but I am pretty sure the brand/quality of paint has a lot to do with it. I'm just going to use what I have and switch.
Thank you Korin, I'm glad you think my videos have helped you :) very pleased to hear this. Holbein watercolors dry very smooth so it's actually easier for me to create these landscapes and I find myself adding less layers. But don't worry too much just use the paints you have because a Good paper matters too and I think hot pressed really helps in that process. I love Arches papers and they are really helpful when painting these type of scenes. Thanks Korin :)
Hi Sanjana, it all depends on everyone's preference. I'm a painter that likes angular brushes the most but here's a link to my website: www.mariamorjane.com/my-art-supplies where I'm listing all the brushes I have and the ones I recommend for beginners (down below). For landscape scenes I'd say angular brush 1/2, 3/4 then round brushes: 1, 3, 8 should do it :)
Hi John, thank you. All the colors are mentioned in a video (subtitles) when you watch it, are you able to see the annotations? maybe it's hard to see when watching on a mobile device, not sure... thanks

Thank you Adarsh :) I enjoy staying connected with everyone here :) that's why I'm making this art showcase where everyone can see their own painting!
When are you going to upload that art show case video...?
we are waiting for that😍
🤗🌸May 15th is a deadline for submissions, so probably a week right after 😃

I have a question ->>
Which colour you have used for the painting? ??

Beautiful! I'm going to try this painting. How do you manage to make your watercolor paintings look like oil? So pretty!
Thank you Korin :) I think it's layering and just color selection. I also paint with watercolors in tubes, not pans.. xx🌺🌹💕
I need to get better at the layering, but you have helped me with that by watching your videos. I do use watercolors from the tube, but I am pretty sure the brand/quality of paint has a lot to do with it. I'm just going to use what I have and switch.

Thank you Korin! you too!
Hi Maria, is the phthalo blue that use the Red Shade or Yellow Shade? Thank you so much!!
Hi :) Sorry I didn't put a note on that one, it's Phthalo Red Shade :) Thank you!
Thanks so much!!:-)
your welcome :)
hey Maria,
can you plz tell me all brush numbers and types which i may need to do usual landscape drawings? like round 0, angular 3/4... etc...
#TIA
Hi Sanjana, it all depends on everyone's preference.
