"Comfortina 32" is such a nice brand name for a sail-cruiser. I took a look at some of the Comfortina line sailboats for sale and they look like wonderfully comfortable cruisers indeed. The 32 has some very nice and practical features. I like that she is a tiller helm boat. I think the true feel of the wind is best conveyed through a tiller - plus there's less in the way of mechanicals to go wrong, I think.
@@martinrasmussen By the way. As a child in Chicago, my family sailed a Kings' Cruiser, a Swedish made import, on Lake Michigan, which was a popular mahogany hulled cruiser on the Great Lakes at the time. At just 29 feet It didn't have all the comforts of your '32 but it was a solid coastal sailor with basic accommodations that could take a beating in foul weather with that heavy keel. Your grounding incident pulling into the harbor reminded me of the very same thing happening to use pulling into St. Joe Michigan one evening at the end of a lake crossing from Chicago's Monroe Street Harbor. In that case it was a matter of silt build-up at the entry that had not yet been fully dredged for the summer and the port authority had not properly marked the hazard. We had to be gently pulled off the by a tug after off-loading some people and material. Luckily there was no damage.

Thanks Franklin, for your comments. Comfortina is indeed a nice performing boat and easy to handle singlehand
