Suzuki Bandit N 1200 - Will it Run? Carburettor Assembly and Brake flush - part 2

- Servus and welcome! I bought this Suzuki BANDIT N 1200 MY 97 (GSF 1200 GV75A) without starting the engine because the battery was dead. But to start it would be a bad idea anyway because the fuel tank is very rusty on the inside, so we can expect the rust to be everywhere.
In part one the fuel tank was removed, the carb taken out and dismantled. In this part 2 we begin to assemble the clean carburetor. All jets go in and the floats follow. But I figured out that the float levels were incorrect so they need to be adjusted. The float bowls and needle membranes are mounted next. Dont forget the springs on top of the membranes and the covers have a mounting direction. When everything is put together we want to know if the carbs are leaking. So I make a special fuel tank for the test and fill in fluid for one night. While the carbs do the fuel leak test its a good time to flush the rear brake system. The fluid was in there for more than ten years and look like dark honey :-/ Carburettors seem not to leak so we can mount them. But will the Suzuki Bandit naked bike RUN?
We do every step together and everything is showed and explained in detail.
I hope you enjoy my video and it helps you to repair your own stuff - because thats my intention! Thank you for watching - Авто та транспорт
Thanks man this video was very detailed and it helped me a bunch keep up the great work.
Hi würdest du sagen, dass das Bike zuverlässig ist? Springt immer an etc…?
no sickness you just need a bigger shed take two pandol you'll be right in the morning
What's a pandol?
Na siehste läuft doch :D
Selam kardeşim nasılsın.Suzukı bandit videolarında Türkçe alt yazı seçeneği ekleyebilirmisin lütfen apple tablette Türkçe gözükmüyor teşekkür ederim açarsanız sağlıklı kalın…
What can I do better in the videos? Please help me to improve.
If you're only changing the throttle cables do you need to take the carbs off to get at the bellcrank?
I think yes bc there is not much space and it's fiddly
@@bikedogtor1663 Same XD
i dont mean to be so offtopic but does someone know of a way to get back into an instagram account??
I somehow lost my password. I love any tips you can give me.
@Remy Jaxx instablaster ;)
@Miller Kyler Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and I'm in the hacking process now.
Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
By any chance, do you know if a wrong float height can cause the revs to hang at about 2000rpm? It seems to be a rich condition but it's not the pilot screws or vacuum leak or wrong jet sizes etc.
No I don't think so. If the floats hang too low there is not enough fuel at high rpms. Do the rpm hang when going down? That's usually wrong idling mixture.
@@bikedogtor1663 Yes, so: you're accelerating or just cruising at about 4000+rpm and then pull the clutch, the revs drop like a stone to 2000 but then they take about 3 seconds to go from 2000 to 1200/idle. The idle screws are set to factory standard, screwing them in even just 1/8 makes the bike run really badly with backfiring and everything...
@@jonass961 I have a very similar problem on my b12 (96)
@@ThomasMoore.1 I'm having the suspicion it's the floats because I've messed with them once... How about you?
@@jonass961 needle and seat may need replacing the little spring loaded plunger in the needle gets soft altering your float height
Hello!
how much does the refurbishment set cost?

There is another bleed on inside piston of rear brake ;)
Oops 🤔 think I bleeded it off camera
