My pleasure. I wish I would have stayed longer. Can't wait to go back and explore the beaches and night life.

I grew up in Mozambique, although corruptness runs rampant, it is a very beautiful country, and people are friendly and laid back. Mozambique is my home.

      Hi there,
You wrote about corruption. My friends have told me about corrupt Maputo airport employees. Do you have any tips to stay safe and when going through immigration at Maputo airport?

@@jenmar9428 hey, last time I would’ve gone through immigration would’ve been a long time ago, maybe 8 years ago. From what I’ve experienced, it was always safe. Just the usual precautions like making sure your suitcases are theft proof.
I can’t really speak much on anything else, as I’ve stated, it has been a while since I’ve been back there.

Been saying, the southern African countries are the best and starting points for black americans, because they are most developed. From Angola, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia, Botswana, South Africa, Mozambique But mind you, they are kinda expansive

South Africa is where I started. I also think Ghana or Rwanda are good countries to start.

    Hi there,
My hubby and I are planning to fly to Mozambique. How was your experience at Maputo airport? Many friends have told me about their horrible experience due to c0rrupt airport officials.

My experience was normal. No issues at all. I'm heading back next month so we'll see.
